Sounds like a good photo theme for next month: Photos that cannot be replicated.
Could be the place no longer exists, or access is no longer allowed, or the moment will likely never be repeated...
I would have to find the pic of me on the Pisa Bell Tower, taken on my honeymoon a few years ago.
Edit: I just found out that people are once again allowed to go up the tower. Still, that moment will never be repeated for me. Enjoy them when you get them.
Noccalula Falls. It was so great way back when....before the stupid city got a hold of it. I grew up hiking, swimming and exploring there when I was a kid. I took Bender the other day and thought I would throw up....literally. All the fences, buildings, choo-choo train and all the other bullsh*t. I go by there at least twice a day, every day, but I haven't actually 'been' there in years. The only thing they did right was the walking trail. Can't have nuthin' nice....

Yes, almost exactly between San Francisco and Los Angeles.
We just drove through California 166 between Santa Maria and Mariposa a couple of days ago. They had a bad accident on the Southbound 101 near Gaviota. And it was shutdown for who knows how long.
So we diverted our trip back from San Luis Obispo though that scenic back country road. A must for anyone!
Your picture looked a lot like that country.
