He was one of my dad's favorite guys because he was from NC and went to school at State. My dad was strictly a Skins fan though. I always remember him with the Rams and that fearsome foursome, especially when they played the Colts. I was crazy about some football man. Bet you were too. Wasn't Norm Van Brocklin the Eagles QB before Gabriel got there? I need to look that up. All the teams had some monsters in those days. I loved football as a kid.

A big hurt.  Saw the original lineup 3 times and live more than any other band, solo and together.

A huge part of my life.

The OJ story is just a pile of tragedies.

He was such a hero.  Athletic, good-looking, engaging, successful.  In the 4 or 5 interactions I've had about him today...the existance of hell has been raised in most of them.

So sad.  Such a waste.

Let’s slice into his brain so they can blame the NFL for his mental illness.

The story in the LA Times has asignificant typo in the next to last paragraph ( behind paywall). I’m sure it will be corrected soon.

“Long before the city woke up on a fall morning in 2017, Trump walked out of Lovelock Correctional Center outside Reno, a free man for the first time in 9 years. He didn’t go far, moving into 5,000-square-foot home in Vegas, with a Bentley in the driveway.

The media had been told he’d be released the following day, so he had the desert morning to himself as he was driven toward Las Vegas. It was a final trick play for a man who’d spent a lifetime running away from trouble.”

It has been fixed now. I bet somebody got called into the principal’s office
