i think it is the 2nd song by this outfit i've heard on RP. i really, really like this one. thanks for including it, william!
Well, that's fresh.
Love the droll name of the band
One of Tampa Bay's fav local bands.
Bumped from 7 to 8. But I'm hypnotized so this may be against my will.
The beginning of the song sounds like "La Isla Bonita" by Madonna

Love the drums & bass as well. Or well, pretty much all components but that's usually the first thing I notice and important for me.. Lovely production in general :)

My avocado toast is too spicy for you!
Good Tune! I never heard of them before! Thanx RP!
As this song started I was expecting Madonna's voice to come on
Hearing overtures of Safety Dance, Africa, and even La Isla Bonita. And that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Yeah. If this were my daily diet, I'd die sooner than expected.
If it were my sound diet, I might even turn suicidal.

Mmmmm,  avocado toast.
That intro, Madonna's La isla bonita vibes
What a segue from Happy Idiot by TV on the Radio!!

I don't know... three years later, I still don't hear The Hip Abduction too much outside of RP, but avocado toast...

My rating went into the ratings pool and anyone is free to look it up it they really care about my vote for this song. I'm often interested in what people have to say about the song, but scratch my head when they just proclaim their rating of it. Ah well, free speech and all.

That's fine, but what rating did you give this song? Asking for a friend.
The longer I hear the song, the more I like it.
Started the rating at 6 and I'm on 8 atm and it's not even over..

I like giving Tomansi shit for his rating-proclamation-only comments, though to be fair he is rather consistent in his style, and offers a unique if not incomprehensible method.

Long Live RP and kind-hearted-shit-flipping!!

Delicious and who cares what anyone else thinks?
Love the cover artwork ...

The first time I saw the cover art, I thought "Hey, it's Tony and Sam" ... Get it?

I dig the tune -- a strong 7 for the upbeat feel of the song, with the dreamy arrangement of vocals to innocuous lyrics (had to look 'em up elsewhere).

Initially thought this was some Whitlams I hadn’t heard before. Low-fi guy sounds so much like Tim Freedman.
I'd love to hear RP play more from this album...

it is actually the movement of bringing the leg to the outside of the body laterally, so basically a side split is hip abduction :)

I'm pretty sure it's something I do at the gym! There's even a machine specifically for it.

Schöne Musik für diesen schönen Sommertag
Curiou. 3 back to back repeats incl Bill's comments between. The records stuck... the records stuck... the revords stuck...

voice reminiscent of the lead singer of The Whitlams (Australian band). Tim Friedman.

Is this sampled from a Norah Jones thingy?
Yet another new song (to me) that I like.

More funny stuff here...

Love the guitar work by the way

Or confused kidnappers. Or grave robbers.
Great atmosphere, I love it!

Upvoted for the band name

here's a good example of why one shouldn't judge a tune by its intro....after that freaky-whisper vocal intro this track stayed in an aural groove that I really liked!  an 8 from SEATown

This is one of the reasons I like posting comments on songs....the last couple times this track has come on I've dropped my rating from 8 to 6 to 4, all because of how much I dislike that damn whisper intro.  I'll leave it at 7 for now....just need to remember to NOT listen to the first few seconds of this one {#Music}

LONG LIVE RP!!

woah! I love this song - I downloaded it somewhere a couple of months ago and have been jamming out to it, listening to in now on RP it is noticeably faster tempo....what the?
the album art cover made me look :)

A little Foster the People-ish.

Very dreamy and peppy and cool!
