I'm the one natural one, make it easy
we can take it inside
where I can love how I like if I want it
whatever keeps me high

yeah, we can take it
good and loose on an endless spree
good because we made it
and when momma's not around
there's no telling what we'll do when we're free

I'm the one natural one, make it easy
we can take it inside
I can have it cause I act like I love it
it's a matter of pride

yeah, we can take it
good excuse for an endless spree
good because we made it
and if the world is falling down,
it may as well crash with me

when I'm numb natural one

Yes.  Yes, it is.

I watched a lot of Beef----don't remember it being used but it sure would fit. Cool show.

I want that drum sound for my next album.
this song playing while driving is dangerous, in a good way
Wind up spring-y tin kid's toys anyone?  All I can think of when I hear this...clearly I am of the MTV generation...

that would be a good mix- Addicted to Love and this one
Something tells me members of the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club liked this song a lot. Excellent groove!

Oh dang. It's November 13 and no White Rabbit before this song.  It's a spooky variant of Heisenberg's observer effect: the act of making note of Bill's song sequences will alter the order.... Perhaps this is a quantum radio station, whilst most others are Newtonian.

Dec, 29, 2021 and back to White Rabbit

It's not the drumming that's incompetent, it's the guitar.
good morning from Berlin RP! love this
Yessssss! It's an amazing feeling when a song creates the sudden, overwhelming urge to dance!
Man, when that guitar comes in with that riff dripping with reverb . . . just awesome.

Spotify? Why leave Pardise for a computer playlist when we have the best DJ in the universe. Ha ha.
This song is on Amazon.

Distinctly well crafted!

Yup, also considering both songs are from soundtracks!
That's the kind of programming I adore!
Jon Spencer Blues Explosion?
Nope!
Lou Barlow Folk Implosion!

One of my favorites!  Shearwater does an amazing cover of this one too.
Ranks in Top 5 uses of vibra-slap.

Such is the variation in human species and their likes and dislikes! This isn't my cup of tea, but it's obviously great for some. A lot of effort went into its making, but to me, it's a bit like Jethro Tull without the structure or class of musicians. As I right, there's a small section that has a melody and is quite appealing ... oh, it's still going, thought it had finished. :-)

Yes, variation indeed.  To me this sounds absolutely unlike anything Tull has ever done - beginning with the beat and rhythm.
Awesome set 9.7.17. Sultry. Kasabian next to Spoon would have been Too Good!! Slip in a lil Weepies.

That's what I thought too. What part, what passage, what measure of this song gives off even a slight J Tull vibe? Weird comment. Not bashing — just very odd to this longtime Tull fan.

Super-nice to hear the Loubie project, rp.....now how bout some Dinosaur Jr??
When the heck  did song start to ROCK??!!!
One hell of a killer groove in this one, Natural One... Such sinister meanderings, such wicked thrashing and bashing, layered smooth...

I can see people driving home, hitting grocery store, dancing down the aisles, filling a cart, getting home and dancing in with groceries... Nobody needs to ask about the day...They can tell by how I'm dancing... OK, it's my video and it's only between my ears...BUT still, It could happen... whole evening playlist moving along this groove...
Nice groove this evening.

Reminds me of NiN...
More Lou !!!  More Lou !!!  Sebadoh's Bakesale is absolute perfection - lots of RP friendly stuff on there.

Nicely done - Bill always amazes me with his musicality.  Not many people appreciate so many genres - truly amazing!

Happy weekend RP! Thanks for getting me through another long drive!
I'd have to set the cruise before turning it on or I'd have the POlice in my rear view mirror for speeding.
Drivin' stuff.  I wish they'd record a 45-minute version.

1 for the incompetent drumming, +5 because it's Lou Barlow = 6.

This song rubs me completely the wrong way — it really irks me!

It is (still) a 1 for me — I don't have too many of these...

Got to see them play a set at a Cambridge, MA music store back in 97' maybe...awesome. I'm at the point of where my parents are digging the stuff I listened to in HS and College. There are some wicked gems in there, so keep your ears open.

I gave this one an "outstanding" #9. I reserve the "godlike" #10 for our hosts Bill and Rebecca MUSICsmith.

The groove is undeniable. {#Dance}
Yea, this song has a great beat. Was reduced by oversaturation a bit, but it is still a good song.
Great groovin' along ....

Bah, by 1996 Alternative Rock was already a long way through its decline, which started a few months after "Smells Like Teen Spirit" hit it big.  Now get off my lawn, you young punks!

{#Tongue}{#Kiss} this song makes me purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
This is good.

Gee, I guess I like folk music after all! {#Dance}

Never really understood the appeal for this song. But then again, Lou Barlow is back with Dinosaur Jr, so all is well.

Unfortunately, that is the case. None of the Folk Implosion ablums have this gem. Luckily, I found the single from the 'Kids' soundtrack in the used CD bin.
