Together we'll stand
Divided we'll fall
Come on now people
Let's get on the ball
And work together
Come on, come on
Let's work together
(Now now people)
Because together we will stand
Every boy, every girl and man
People, when things go wrong
As they sometimes will
And the road you travel
It stays all uphill
Let's work together
Come on, come on
Let's work together
You know together we will stand
Every boy, girl, woman and man
Oh well now, two or three minutes
Two or three hours
What does it matter now
In this life of ours
Let's work together
Come on, come on
Let's work together
(Now now people)
Because together we will stand
Every boy, every woman and man
Come on, let's work together...
Well now, make someone happy
Make someone smile
Let's all work together
And make life worthwhile
Let's work together
Come on, come on
Let's work together
(Now now people)
Because together we will stand
Every boy, girl, woman and man
Oh well now, come on you people
Walk hand in hand
Let's make this world of ours
A good place to stand
And work together
Come on, come on
Let's work together
(Now now people)
Because together we will stand
Every boy, girl, woman and man
Well now together we will stand
Every boy, girl, woman and man

"Listener Review Channel" brings back some old memories.

nice... now let's hear some Long John Baldry after this!

Don't give me none of that booogie wooogie music.

My Favorites followed up with
Solider of Fortune  Sonny Landreth
Not forgetting a different direction from Bryan Ferry 'Let's stick together.'
wow he's almost 90. I saw him when he was 80 and he was brilliant

I keep waiting for this to start

A nice sentiment.
Unfortunately, here in America, when someone voices, "Let's work together" the other side responds with, "Why should we work together after the other side did blah blah blah".

Well, with that attitude, how do you expect things to change?

People, when things go wrong
As they sometimes will
And the road you travel
It stays all uphill
Let's work together
Come on, come on
Let's work together
You know together we will stand

Give your brothers and sisters a little credit, and keep seeing them as brothers and sisters.
The musical arrangement makes me feel like driving a steam locomotive.
8 on the lyrics alone. Nice!
Bob Marley 3 little birds
Stevie Wonder Don't You Worry Bout a Thing
and now this, nice to pick up on some positive vibes.
Doesn't matter which version, this is the song for our times.
I don't think I've ever heard an acoustic version of this song before (cover or otherwise).  It's not nearly as energized as other versions, but it feels so honest, to me.
Canned Heat's version is great but ya can't beat the original version by Wilbert Harrison!

I'd be in favor of more cuts from this album, which features Sonny Landreth playing some incredible guitar on some of the tunes.

Bryan Ferry also does a version of this song called Let's Stick Together, which is also a pretty cool take on it.
