With the rain slowly falling outside, moving to a 9 for me.......thank you RP!

Very nice
Quite nice. Sounds like something by Chris Spheeris
Rich and beautiful...just paused RP to play this from the internets a few more times...maybe I can sleep now.

HA! Thank you for that...
Beautiful!
Totally failed my saving throw vs. this song.  At work and had to pause music to finish a job... but not 'til this song's done.
Fabulous.  Nothing less than a 10 from these ears.

funny
7 from me! Cheers! {#Cheers}
Beautiful. I could listen to this for hours. (Of course I'd get nothing done but who cares?)
The first thing that came to mind when I saw his name was "Jesse, we have to cook."
Thank you.
Back again hearing it for the second time!!!! And only 4 responses ago...
A little Windham Hilly in the background, but very nice guitar.
It's only 9:55am GMT here but already its time to get the bongo drums out again :)
I'll quad that!  Simply lovely...

The percussion has an Olodum tinge. Nice {#Cheers}
Very Windham Hill (a good thing).
nice guitar , great drumming.very nice Bill
Fantastic!  I've missed this in the past.  As has been stated here thousands of times Bill, you serve your calling well...
Everybody in my alien space craft loves this smooth guitar work...  we love sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll...
I started with a 7 and then realized how stupid of a rating that was and immediately increased it.  A few more listens and this could enter a 10 status, no doubt.
Love the percussion....
I've had the pleasure to see Cook perform several times and have hung out with him afterwards. He is an incredibly humble, natural performer, who just takes pleasure in the music and in hanging out with the musicians in acts who play before and afterwards. He's also very versatile: he can play on a box just as well as on a 12-string.

Very smooth guitar work...  love this...

I second that!

Not getting why some people think this act is not terrific. Music, playing, orchestration, production. Cook is an incredibly fluid and passionate guitar player. A very evocative and alluring sound. And I probably never would have known of it had I not heard it on RP. Clearly, Bill has much better taste then some of the listeners. Thanks, Bill.

Drums of Olodum (Salvador, Brazil).
Jesse Cook is consistently good.

What a let-down after Mirror in the Bathroom - but in a gutsy and amazingly nice way. {#Meditate}

Olha o Olodum aí, gente!
Boring, means nothing! And I´m not sorry.
{#Sunny} Nice!
Wow really pleased you played this after almost 2 years =-D

Man, I wish I could play like that!

another time, I might like this. Bill is usually the wonder-seamer, smooth and all dat. But have to say, this is just not a great follow up to Pink Floyd. Just seems so unimportant and a trifle truffle. Bleck actually. Does it not stop? 5 types of boring in one song. Make that 10. Okay thats it. I hate this song.
You've GOT TO BE kidding!.....Sunday afternoon, beautiful breeze past my window, and this beautiful song.....man.....there's no accounting for some people's taste.

I'm gonna hold of on rating for now, because it just doesn't seem fair to rate anything after Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here... Seems like a decent song, though
I recently saw Jesse Cook in Concert on his first date of his current Canadian tour in Ottawa. VERY worth while seeing live if the opportunity arises. Excellent group of musicians working with him.

Nice....refreshing...this is why I listen to RP..... Enigma type music..... priceless!
The heavy breathing sound intro reminds me of Full Metal Jacket
:good-vibes: ...and nice segue from Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here! :Propeller:
Two words: Ottmar Liebert Not sure who came first, but they're twin sons of different mothers. Still, nice to listen to. .goat

... Look out Paradise CA Jesse is coming to town on Thursday, May 11th. 2006 at the Paradise Performing Arts Centre, 777 Nunneley Rd. ( oh, good numbers!) Lucky you! Enjoy! ...
Excellent guitar work in this song, but other than that, it's a little bland.
This is very, very nice.
would so love for it to be a Sunday morning lounging on the sofa with nothing important to do...very relaxing :meditate:
Very nice!
Is All Jesse Cook's music like this? It is awesome!
Very relaxing and beautiful :chillpill:

Good ear. Nice tune though.
Its raining on Oahu right now (a lot), and this somehow seems to fit ....
The percussion is a little over-bearing.
Sometimes sleight of hand is just sleight of hand...
nice 8)

And where in Radio Paradise is the word rock?
Doing my best Woody Allen, "Well, um, at the, uh, top of the page there, you see." It's in the page title. Do I get it? No, but it's nostalgic. Jesse's the man. Great tune.

Eclectic? Sure. Intelligent? Yep. Rock? Hard to make that case. It's nice (my parents would like it) but I don't think it belongs here.

nice piece. first time i've heard it...and have been listening pretty much non-stop for months...
So nice to hear in the middle of a hectic day in the mines :)

well, bill, i say play it, but just not TOO often! :skull: :skull:
Personally, from the spacing of the comments (and my recollection) this certainly isn't beng played too much. Quite sublime. Doubt I could ever hear too much of it
Nice low-key salve for tonight. 8)
Meh. Pretty but fairly boring. Lacking originality or movement or something....Sorry.

love that guitar..... :bounce: and nice percussion, too :bounce:
what a beautiful song... :music:
Great cut, great album, wonderful interlude. Couple of weeks ago I was faced with a long drive through the Catskills on a glorious sunny early Autumn day with no decent music. Had my CD's for my walkman (not while driving) but the car only had a tape deck. So I quickly scanned Woodstock for a music store, and the sparse casette offerings and EUREKA they had this
Nice, easygoing song for the morning. Thanks.
I feel like I must be in "priority sequence", except the music isn't being interrupted every 30 seconds.
Excellent. Please keep this one on the playlist, Bill. Thanks.
Wasn\'t (isn\'t) this used as a filler tune when there\'s time left before the commercials/news? I believe at KPIG, but I don\'t listen to that station so often anymore. Very nice atmosphere and wonderful playing of course, but a pity it has got the association of an \"inbetween/filler song\" for me now.

Does it have to be all three or merely one?

I have a sudden urge to get my teeth cleaned.
 Is Jesse Cook\'s music always instrumental? Wonderful mood music -- I\'m just waking up on a Saturday morning here in Korea, and this is perfect. Just found RP yesterday, and I\'m so glad already!
this sounds good.
changing my rating on this...I like it more the more I hear it.
Purchased his Tempest cd as a result of RP. What a treat! Great music to listen to while slaving away at work, or just about anytime.
Another example of how RP has expanded my horizons.... I\'d heard small bits of Jesse Cook\'s music, but had never known who the artist was. I love this! And thanks, Bill for turning me on to more great music!
Okay, this is the second Jesse Cook cut that caught my ear. First time I\'ve ever heard his music. I\'m seriously thinking of buying the CD. Thx RP
Thanks for playing this one for us. It\'s beautiful, expecially on a day like today. :)
ooops... sorry leslie :)

That's cool. Thanks for the insight. Just so you know, it's flamenco :) I play classical guitar so I have seen the word spelled out many times.

7 please...Oh, Sorry, thought I was in an elevator for a minute there.
