Sorry, what did you say?
I look forward to the day when RP can indulge us in more instrumental pieces throughout the day. There are many artists to choose from. Mainstream groups like Split Enz, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Genesis, Simple Minds, The Who, and Roxy Music have all done instrumentals. Maybe start with instrumental versions of the classics. Heard of Devo’s E-Z Listening Disc for example? Here are just a few of the Steves making great instrumentals: Steve Morse, Steve Coolidge, Steve Hackett, Steve Howe, Steve Vai, and Steve Hillage, etc..
How have I never heard this tune, or this artist before? More, please!
Holy Christ, that bass line is INSANE.

Guitarist is not bad too.

tell me this wasn't last played 7 years ago. Yikes.

Great tune. I would have this cranked if it wasn't so late (and I'd wake the neighbors)

Go on... give everyone a taste of Eric Johnson. IMHO one of the best guitarists of all time.

Wow! Eric Johnson on RP--what a concept! I presume that this was recently uploaded/added/whatever. And I once scoffed at someone who commented on a song before it had ever been played here. Ah, the bravado of naivete. This is EJ's most popular song, and as is hardly ever the case, some of his best work. No virtuoso wanking, here, and you'd never know that the guy can tell what brand of 9v battery is in any of his pedals--and how much juice is left--just by listening.
I love Eric Johnson. Like his live stuff most. Austin City Limits disc and DVD are wonderful, as is Alien Love God. If you like Hendrix and SRV, check out Eric. Under appreciated...
