Jah Wobble were at a festival I went to a few years back, and naturally they performed this, it being their 'hit'.  I'm not saying that the chorus went on for a bit, but when it started I managed to go for a toilet break, and then bought some liquid refreshment and munchables (bearing in mind the queues involved in each case), and located the other half in the crowd, and they STILL hadn't finished.

I don't know what this is... I have never heard it before.
It sounds pretty good -- not great.

Always dug Jah Wobble. It's a band led by PiL's former bassist. There's a hybrib feel to his grooves. A musician who has clearly traveled across Africa and the Middle East.

I moved here in '91 from NYC.  LOVED HFS.  They did a good job programming.

Does anyone remember WLIR (aka WDRE) in NYC?  There was a comparable station in Central/Southern NJ, can't remember the call letters but they were high on the dial.

That got me thinking.  Wardle's a competent bassist, so I always assumed he played his own bass lines.  However, a couple of minutes research has revealed to me that he and Laswell have worked together; John has contributed bass work to Laswell, and vice versa.

flashback for sure. Takes me back to my first 'internet radio' experience. Blasting Adam Curry's "rave radio" across a convention floor in the early 90's. Other song I recall is Utah Saints, "Something Good is Going to Happen". :)
