But I do I know that the Bill has played Lady Gagged knowing that he would take a serious blogo-fragging, and I think that's a good thing, even though I really don't want to hear that kind of 'popular' music on RP.

This can't be turning 10 years old yet. I remember buying this album when it came out just the other day.
Sure wish time would slow back down to what it used to be when I was young.

I second that sentiment CascadianPDX - Neko Case is pretty damn brilliant in my opinion. Although I think I like her earlier stuff better, this song is quality too.

As a young kid, my grandmother use to take our family to the Caribbean every winter, and I always remembered how much I loved the smell of the airport. That smell always meant something great was about to happen!

I just had the pleasure of seeing her live last week and it was *incredible*. She doesn't need any effects to make her sound that good - she just is. And all the while she was in jeans and a hoodie :)

I really like this song and Neko's voice, so much so I have ordered the cd from a local record shop. I recently saw Neko as a guest on a Rock Qiz show; Rock Wiz, she belted out some great vocals.
The one lyric about "animal" made me think of similar lines about "nanimals" in the 1960s novel, "Diary of a Mad Housewife." Anyone recall that?

Generally like Neko, but haven't been all that impressed with the new album. It's not that it's bad so much, but I think Fox Confessor was stronger, and most of her other albums had at least a couple standout tracks.

Every Neko Case album is awesome and her latest is no exception. This is a wonderful track.
I love that Neko inspires such conversation... to me she is amazing. to others a siren... either way, she moves people!

That is the danger of knowing music too well, critical listening becomes a focal point rather than enjoying the music for what it is. I love Neko "flaws" and all.
