If we pull this off together, our story will be told.
We'll remember this forever. You'll be here and I'll be whole.
If we pull this off together, our story will be told.
We'll remember this forever. You'll be here and I'll be whole.

I'm looking for a reason. There's got to be just one.
Come join me in my searching. Where has all the feeling gone?
Already looked so far. Beginning to lose hope.
Searched near and traveled far. Does anyone even know?
Does anyone even know?

Let's write it in stone, let everybody see.
Lets build it from the ground. The way it should be.
On the edge, it's just one step
and we'll know what this could be.
Set it apart, come from behind.
Take our first step, making full stride.

What is in the way? What but time?
To know what this could be.

It's easy to give up. Takes nothing to give in.
We have to have each other, find somewhere to begin.
If I have to do it, I will try on my own.
But if I don't come back, will you set out to bring me home?
Will you bring me home?

Let's write it in stone, let everybody see.
Lets build it from the ground. The way it should be.
On the edge, it's just one step
and we'll know what this could be.

If I could go back in time I'd find the seed of all this Porcupine Tree junk and get him a scholarship to a trade school so he can learn plumbing or something and leave music alone.

  hilarious one, scott!
Only heard the ending.  Can't believe I've not heard this B4.
After brief scanning of comments.

The bass on this song!?! Doing just the right things.
Sounds a little like Twenty One Pilots
I, for one, love this Porcupine Tree junk!

Purchased both CD's from these brothers on their website. Not a throwaway song on either; very talented. Thanks Bill for the introduction.

Much prefer the acoustic version.

Sometimes a musician or artist or director gets a creative vision for a project that has all the bells and whistles. Sometimes the creator realizes that particular dream and it is everything that they thought it would be, yet it is still lacking, still short of what it could be. Sometimes more is less; sometimes a solid, simple idea just needs to be fleshed out. Then again, it could be just me applying my preferences upon something that isn't mine to dictate.

this is why i love RP: new music handed to me on a silver platter. this one had a Younger Brother vibe to it, at least to my ears.
Ah, Barbara Feldon. can't believe how long ago Get Smart was--apparently some folks actually hadn't been born whilst i was watching. sigh. {#Cheers}
Oh yeah that's my kinda transcendental space pop  {#Music}

who is that?

That is the character "99," played by actress Barbara Feldon, in the old TV sitcom Get Smart.
Jars of Clay?

yeah but who is ginger....i dont know a lot about this band

Ginger was the sex object of desire eye candy loose woman with a heart of gold on Gilligan's Island, played by Tina Louise. (The yachting cruisers were shipwrecked on some remote island for about three years of episodes, but the Rodeo Drive working girl always had another outfit.)  Get Smart with Max Smart and Agent 99 was on the tube contemporary with Gilligan's Island in the '60s. Half of the responders here could answer those who aren't clued in to Ginger, but no one did, so I enlightened everyone.
Ohh, something new (to me), ta very much.
Damn...that's nice
Anyone familiar with the whole album - worth getting?!

Must try to get to know better

Mandolins remind me of the REM song Hairshirt from Green (I think) ...
Could it be on the soundtrack for the new 'Superheroes of Islam' manga, the 99?

Very cool, for a moment I thought it might be a track from the new Blackfield album.
wonderful band with beautiful music!  If you haven't heard any of their other music i highly recommend the songs "Time could do better" and "if the world would stay the same"
I was just checking the playlist and saw that my upload has finally been played! Great song, isn't it?
AMAZING emotion. powerful band. I love it!!! I want more.
Seriously Bill, how do you discover all these great bands??
