Released: 1982

As they say, two can play
But keep that song away from me
In my time too much love
Has made me sad for so long
I was lost, can't you see
Through the long lonely night

Heaven knows, I believe
Won't you take a chance with me
Sometimes I get so blue
People say I'm just a fool
All the world, even you
Should learn to love the way I do

I was blind, can't you see
Through the long lonely night
Heaven knows, I believe
You can take a chance with me

This song, the whole album, represents a time in my life of choices made, regretted and finally accepted. I shiver with delight whenever this song plays…
This one goes to 11... the whole album...
Both Roxy Music and Yes released their best selling albums in the early 80s with significantly greater production values than their previous works. So polished.
Tasty elegant pop music.
It took me nearly three years after first hearing The War on Drugs to realize that that little nagging thing I kept hearing in their songs was Roxy Music.

Fantastic, both the influencer and the influenced!
Prefer the first three or four albums.
Going to see Bryan Ferry in two days! Looking forward to a great show.
To me, Roxy was one of the few bands (Queen and Rush come to mind) that were so unique, they didn't seem to be as effected by changing musical trends.
My favourite track from my favourite Roxy LP.
37 years ago, man, how time flies.
Inducted into the idiotic Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year. About 20 years overdue.
Can we hear some stuff off the first few albums also? Please?
Love their sound.  Going to see Bryan F. at the Chicago Theater this summer.  Should be a great time for all!
Roxanne Swederski where are you???
Nice to hear this instead of the usual 'More Than This'.
Such a great song.  Perfect for a cloudy day.
My favorite track from one of my top 10 albums of all time. It takes me back to a time and place, and always brings me a warm feeling. That's a 10 in my book.
Wore this record out....

Always loved the epic, spooky beginning to this, reminiscent of The Fixx and earlier Alan Parsons Project. The voice & guitars, so fine!

Excellent intro.{#Angel}
Takes me back to one of my best moments in my life great album!!
Priceless and full of simplest wisdom that serves well when explored to its almost fantasy-like boundaries
Woohweee, I Loved this when it came out. I was 16.
Great song...great album.

loved hearing Roxy back then, almost as much now!  Falling in love was so cool then
Certainly not the best song on this album.

But - overall - this album is quite wonderful.

Excellent album.{#Cool}
