Yes, I know it's easy to dredge up comparisons with the Nazis but...
In the early days of their rule, the Nazis decided they needed to remove mentally disabled people from Germany's population to preserve racial purity and genetic excellence. The mentally disabled were placed in homesâsupposedly to protect themâand then quietly killed by the Nazis.
The government monitored civilian reaction to the deaths and determined that Germans were willing to have mass extermination and disappearances in their midst, paving the way for the concentration camps.
I keep saying this, but the ICE patrolsâalways in great numbers, always masked, always very heavily armedâare dress rehearsals for police-state intervention in our society, especially at the times of elections. IF we have any more elections.

If Sandy Hook couldn't change minds on guns, how will one (more) murder in the street make a difference?
What will likely happen, right here in this Paradise Forum, and elsewhere, will be the usual âjustificationâ that he shouldnât have shown up there that moment, shouldnât have âimpeded police workâ, shouldnât have said anything, and shouldnât have had a (legal) weapon. That he had no business walking down that public street or having an interest in what was going on right there in his own community. That he got what was coming to him. Or perhaps he had no business existing at all.
So now he doesnât exist at all. Who âwinsâ here? No one wins. A citizen was murdered in broad daylight on a city street with witnesses & video evidence. Most likely nothing will happen, no one will be held accountable. Because itâs just another ânormalizedâ day in Trumpâs America.

Although you can guess I'm not one to advocate for violence, it's clear that this is a movement that's not diminishing and is a literal threat to legal peaceful American citizens. Strongly worded blog posts are useless. Laws, in fact, are useless - thanks to the senile loser felon rapist.
There's an appropriate amount of recoil when I suggest responding to the violence with something violent, but complaining or singing protest songs while marching into the cattle cars or being lined up in front of your grave seems like a poor choice.
I'm with you. Playing by a different set of rules is what got us here. Responding within the bounds allowed to actions that are outside the bounds will not bring order back. They aren't looking for an opportunity to be reasonable - they have that everyday. They are looking for a chance to be unreasonable.

Hereâs more on the ICU nurse being killed in Minneapolis today.
1) had a permit and a gun, which is legal;
2) the gun had already been taken from him by ICE;
3) after beating him up including hitting him repeatedly with a gun;
4) two officers have their guns pulled;
5) and heâs murdered in cold blood. Awaiting the governmentâs usual âhe deserved it, right?â
It's going back to the old question, "if you could time travel would you kill Hitler as a child?"

Yeah, but letâs not get distracted picking on kurtster. Weâve got a big ass problem. Remember that thereâs a vocal minority of the nation that wants this to be happening. Until it turns on them, of course.
Iâve been suggesting that, in lieu of actually throwing balloons filled with bleach or ammonia at these Nazis - the ones in camo with automatic weapons terrorizing and kidnapping and killing American citizens so, yes, they deserve a real retaliation with a real threat that they understand more than a simple meme - people should at least be hosing them down with sprinklers so the Minnesota winter has its way with them.
