Which App crashes?  Is it the RP App or is it the Roku App? In my case its the RP App while accessing it on my Roku...  I too have verified I'm using the most current RP & Roku versions
(Roku Model 4200 X-Roku 3, Ver. 15.0.4 Build 5534, last upd 10/14/25).  I cannot find any fixes at Roku or anything addressing the issue at RP either.

I wish I had a fix to share with everyone experiencing this issue but unfortunately I don't.  I figured it might not hurt to share another instance of the problem though.  I'm using a Roku soundbar (9101X), software version: 15.0.  I tried Roku and RP updates but none are available.  The app crashes multiple times daily.

I'm will to run a debug version of the app if the smart people at RP want anyone to help track this issue down.

Hi all of you and thanks for your continued response.  First off, I've recycled my Roku many many times, which is the usual resolution for any Roku problems but in this case the trouble remains.  I've not submitted a trouble report to Roku yet as it appears they have little interest in solving non-video (subscription) problems, but I'll give it a shot.  Again, RP does work on Tune-In with less fidelity, no music listing for what's playing, or still-shot backdrops on my video/surround-sound system...  I really miss those features.   Meanwhile, RP fully works just fine on my (MSW11) PC.  Keep your thoughts coming if you can, thanks so much.

I'm just adding another datapoint in support of the OP that there seems to be a problem with Roku.
I have the exact same issues that have started relatively recently on a ~5yr old express.
Really annoying.

I use both a Roku and a fire stick. I've had the same random drop/ won't restart issues off an on. Some of it is network, we have an overly elaborate network with a lot of house devices on it that can be excessively chatty sometimes. We also have a needlessly complex DMZ for renters, and then it all goes through a VPN so it looks like we are in Seattle for regional/country coverage things.  My DNS sometimes just goes haywire, and I think that's what causes the drops. 4/5 times I can restart it, when it doesn't restart I listen to a podcast and it eventually works again.

Just to say, this has been happening a lot to me too recently. Sometimes rebooting my Roku TV completely will fix the problem, but often I just have to wait it out and try again much later. The RP app works just fine for a while, sometimes even hours, then crashes back to my Roku home screen and refuses to work again. I don't know that there's anything RP can do about that, but I also miss being able to reliably listen to the stream through my TV.

Did you send a question to Roku customer support asking for any feedback? That’s my 2¢. Knock on wood, I’ve been lucky so far.

Don’t know what to say. I had 1 drop off a month ago and just started play and nothing else dropped. Did you try doing a Roku reboot to clear any problems, but not a hard restart.

I've been having weird troubles with the Roku for a while. The first station break would freeze the stream till I skipped, then the station ID, and then it was usually ok. Now that and the boot back to the home screen. I have a Roku Streaming Stick 4k, that I got in late 2022. Kinda sucks because I can't cast from the Android app to the, 10 year, LG TV.  Such is life, hopefully some solution will be fine. 

Another thing is not all HDMI inputs are the same, it seems. I moved the Roku to another input because I'd get HDMI errors. Tho RP shouldn't be bothered by the input.

Mine is working jut fine. I’m listening to it right now. How old is you Roku? They will drop Apps on older units. I had to get a new Roku Stick since a lot of Apps were dead.

Roku trouble! Drops RP app when selected now and will not play.  After years of streaming RP on Roku the app started dropping off about a month ago and has become more frequent in recent weeks.  Now, when RP is selected on Roku, the whole app simply drops off the screen and returns to the Roku home menu.  No RP music streaming or video and it has now become totally unavailable.  I have restarted Roku many times.  I have cleared RP off Roku and re-downloaded the RP app on Roku multiple times and the problem still does not clear. (note, my Roku box is about 10 years old).  I can receive RP over the TuneIn app, but the sound quality suffers...  Any suggestions?
