Ok, so it sounds like the current app (with limited functionality and no car play) is just a temporary app until the new full-functioning app comes out this week. Good to know, but you might want to post an announcement on the front page and push out a message to the apps so people won't fill up the forums with complaints.
What happened to the bitrate options? âNormalâ is so vague. Iâm also baffled that the separate options to select the streaming quality for both cellular and wireless is now gone.
This new UI is sorely lacking, and with regards to the aesthetics, the choice to use red icons and text isnât calming - especially when choosing a different station. Please go back to yellow and the more elegant appearance of the previous app, The lovely artwork needs to return as well.
Agreed, esp. about the color choices. The old UI wasn't great either but you got used to it.
Also, the new app doesn't seem to have a way to access this forum. Maybe there is a way, but it's very cleverly hidden.
I'm getting a LOT of interruptions in songs—e.g. you're listening to REM but Stone Roses comes on in the middle of it.
Finally, I appreciate that a lot of hard work went into getting this app released but it might have been better if you let your listeners know a new app was coming...
RP has posted in other threads last week that they are launching a new version of the app hopefully this week with CarPlay integration & several other requested fixes. You can find it somewhere in the Forum, so standby, v9.0.2 is on the way.

the new app has a horrendous UI. Also: it is missing the full span of comments about a song. Getting to see the top 5 is - simply - useless. Sorry, RP, please can I revert to the old, perfect app?
Not a fan of the new app so far. Distracting graphics in song position (too busy). Extra buttons to press to save rating. Not a fan of the slider for rating. More flash and less function is not a good thing. Change is hard.

Thank you for the update—this sounds like it will be a huge improvement! I hope there will be some major UI improvements coming as well. I love to rate songs, and that's so much harder to do now, especially while driving. Bonus if that feature could integrate with CarPlay.

What is happening to the app, I want the old one back! Years of listening and this is a big step backwards. Can't use in carplay, can't stream via TuneIn, now the app is kneecapped as well?
Love you guys at Radio Paradise, but please do better.
I hate to say it .. but as a 20 year plus listening and a monthly supporter ... this is just a horrible redesign.

Me too (only 15+ years and a monthly sup.). Shocked by the "redesign" (Android App). Wanted to stop the streaming... where is this (beep) button?!?? The whole UX is crap! This is my very first complaint in all these wonderful years! Please please get the previous app back again! Put the under the hood stuff, under the hood!
I have started listening to the Caprice internet radio channels and some are pretty good , not as good as Radio Paradise though .
im using the Eter app for CarPlay which works pretty well.
So disappointed in this disaster of an app . Iâm definitely listening a lot less to Radio paradise
The new app is terrible! Im a 20+ years listener in the Netherlands, but everything I liked is gone. Why can't I give ratings anymore? Where is the My Paradise channel gone? I now have to download a portion? The Main mix is just a set of songs, which keeps repeating. When I choose Go Live, ik keeps searching for a connection or whatever.
I really liked the fact that I can rate songs, and add them to My Paradise. I can then play that list and skip the song Im not in the mood for at that moment. That's gone, and I really can't understand why. Why fix things that are working fine? Is it Trump's influence, that's now reached RP, or what? Please please please put it back!!!
