The timing is odd, like I can usually go for hours before it happens, then it happens pretty often after that. Next day it's okay again until lunchtime or so. I'll try to keep a record (Mac, Chrome)

It seems like folks have been playing with the music-database on the wrong end. When all was in order after the last big revamp of the website, webshite is happening since some folks of the promising new "Eureka" team have left. Shit happens!
The database indeed seems to be in a state of progressive degradation. Songs are assigned to wrong albums, like this one. Smells like some automated algorithm has been let loose on the DB. Possibly even AI⦠it would explain the sloppiness.
RP on Alexa intermittently loops the last bit of a song and then stops. I have hard rebooted my DOT, issue did not clear up. I disabled the skill, re enabled it, still happening. When I listen on Tune In, I don't have this issue, however the Main Mix playlist is sometimes out of sync with the RP app, sometimes by over an hour

I still remember the day, when the main website domain was up for sale for 2-3 days not too long ago and NOTHING worked any longer. The last web-developer left the scene, obviously. And then the shit started hitting the fan.

Just a heads-up that Lyrion / LMS / Logitech Squeezebox players are also suffering from playback stopping after announcements, especially on the Rockit! stream.
I am experiencing the same difficulties when playing on Windows 7 and Android 9.
2 - i cannot download cache for the main mix, i keep getting "error retrieving cache block". I am able to download cache for all other channels.
When i can download the main mix again my sanity will return.
Same here, only 3 hour (or less) may be downloaded regardless of channel selection.

The developer (Michael Herger) has been trying to contact you about this, but hasn't heard back from you - are his emails going into your spam folder? Without his plug-ins working correctly all LMS users are affected ... please do what you can to help. Thanks.
Thanks for the replies, Jarro. Apparently the metadata time format has changed, and the rAudio developer has now updated to allow for this. I don't know why the built-in RP addon does not use the flacm stream, but it has always worked well, and fetches the cover art from RP too.
