New one to me. Got lots (and I mean LOTS) of used CDs, so now and then I put something on that I've never heard.
"Before the Old Man Died" was the first song I heard from Paul Kelly. I can't remember where I heard it back then.
Must have been KROQ-FM Los Angeles.
Loved the "country tingeness" of it.
here's something from Thud, with Nick Di'Virgilio on drums. Seriously.
Now go check out this AMAZING tribute. Brilliantly done. https://www.youtube.com/@TheSh...
And thanks for reminding me about Gilbert today. It comes around about once a month that I get all sad about him.
Shit. Now I'm all sad again.
"Good morning, Precious. Good morning, Special. I've got news for you. There's millions like you."
Nick Di'Virgilio on drums. Nice. I'm a fan of Spock's Beard, The Kindness Of Strangers was the first album of theirs I've heard.
I have a couple Giraffe CDs laying around somewhere.
...And Jimi plays the perfect note that never seems to end...

One of my favourite albums, Thud by Kevin Gilbert.
This is a 3-CD special edition book.

Wow. All those songs and no "Before The Old Man Died" or "Anastasia Changes Her Mind"?

Well, Diplomat will have to wait. I just started re-watching Homeland (seen the first 3 seasons on DVD) and I just purchased The Twilight Zone Complete Series at Walmart for only $20. ð¤·
Oh, and I'm also enjoying Young Sheldon(I'm only on Season 2). So much to watch or listen, so little time...
Diplomat >> Homeland (especially after its first season)
I still wonder how the - oh so technically progredient US of A's burgers (Germaine for citizens) - how they go about watching movies.
Apparently, DVDs are still big!
Fuck me. And fuck them. They could have a 3D projection next to their recliner telling them what to watch. Just like the Chinese. But no! Rust has long taken over not only their belt.
It's not the Greatest Show Ever and makes a good pair with High Potential. Entertaining for a procedural.
On Netflix, I'd go for the excellent Diplomat.

I don't watch Will Trent but it's on my radar. I love the previews I've seen, but it's not on Netflix. (Don't have Apple, Disney, Amazon, etc) Maybe I'll grab it on DVD, old school I am.

Don't know if you watch Will Trent but they used some Can as part of their background music. WTF?
(btw Will Trent is a really good show)

Edit: can't find Will Trent on DVD on Amazon. On eBay? Lots...all from Malaysia or China. Lol no thanks.
