Petting a big stinky cat.

Been there done that.  Only used mine once this year.  It's 65 F right now, threatening to break the all time record for today.  Tomorrow, 20 F and snow.

It wasn't just the cold dark winters, it was the widespread Catholicism.

Been tracing my family tree on my dads side and boy were those Quebecois prolific. I guess they had nothing better to do in those cold winters. 

  And I’m talking about 16 and 17 children and averaging around 10 children over the centuries. Gives a whole new meaning to Go forth and be fruitful and multiply. 

So I’m the one that caused a dead branch to form on the 200k linear years of blood line. 

Found out they came over here on one branch of the tree from Normandy France and landed on the shores of of the St. Lawrence river around 1620. 

Damn can I get some of those land right. My dad wasn’t kidding when he said they owned the town and forests for as far as the eyes could see.

Heading outside to use my snowblower for only the 2nd time this year before it freezes rock solid.    

Trying to get the $545 I spent on a 2012 Mac Pro for weeks now that was delivered crushed by UPS. UPS said it approved the credit but the seller said they never got money from UPS.
I think I’m going to get screwged over. Can’t try for another one until I get my money back.

 

A good old fashioned wake and bake.  The wife is at her meeting and kitteh is at the Vet. 

I can listen as loud as I can take it.
