Did you slip on that last step
Was it just too steep a climb
Don't look down - just hold on tight now
Put your hand in mine
These strong winds can blow you over
And the air is so damn thin
The hardest part is to begin now
Put your hand in mine
Put your hand in mine
Put your hand in mine
Put your hand in mine
Did your words freeze on your breath
Did your thoughts get trapped inside
You know talk's so overrated
Put your hand in mine
Put your hand in mine
Put your hand in mine
Put your hand in mine
We may be walkin'
For a long long time
Put your hand in mine
If we reach out for each other
We can build upon our love
It's so close now I can feel it
Put your hand in mine...

Wow, I thought this was Robert Plant at first. (His country-like projects I find grating; this is quite good.)

Big fat yawn.

A day doesn't go by that I don't hear a band on RP I'd never encountered before and Immediately assign the song an 8, minimum (anything less and I don't bother). Halfway through my first listen I'm loving this. Now, a little research into who they are/were.
Big fat yawn.

Bummer for you, I guess.
As with many songs I have rated on RP, I don't feel the same today as when I gave this song a bashing. I have rated it higher and who knows where my rating will be by next year.

that was some slick segue from Roger Waters
Yes sir I likes it
Weird distortion and not very good.

Nice ....
So...what if I want to put my hand somewhere else? Will we have a problem?
Nice ....
Oh, stop already.
kind of Hootersesque
The seamless and thoughtful musical segue from "Wait for Her" by Roger Waters into this tune by Largo is one of the many reasons I enjoy and appreciate RP.

There is nothing I like about this song. The pace, the lyrics, the guitar solo, the harmonies, nothing.
Bummer for you, I guess.
Repetitive lyrics and music, but nice on both nonetheless. I had to check myself for a minute. A few bars of the male singer resembled Roger McGuinn.
So...what if I want to put my hand somewhere else? Will we have a problem?

This album was essentially a project of "Americana" music and featured various artists; it was apparently an idea of Rob Hyman and Rick Chertoff, not so much "agents calling one another".
Hmm, whose agent called whom to get this project started? Sorry — love each of these singer's work, but this just has that "has been" washed up "let's get the band back together" sound.

The song was short of a sufficient budget for lyrics.
Meh.
I only rate songs I consider 6+ or better in keeping with my 'if you can't say something nice, don't say anything' philosophy.

a 4.8 rating,
I wonder what the lowest rated RP song is

nope. still shit.
7 - Musically I like it, lyrically not so much. It probably would sound better from a real stereo with floor speakers as opposed to ear buds on an I-Phone.

Oh, I understand now why I thought this was The Hooters.

Well, isn't that special?
Bad Bill, bad!
As the song says \"...so overrated.\"
Even at 5.1 I have to agree... :p
I like it, but which came first, this or \"Dueling Dalton\'s\"
Eagles - Desperado album ??
