Maya, my web of creation
Whispers to me in my solitude
Maya, my music of elation
Takes me to the heights where I can soar
Hear my cry, let me weep the tears of joy
Hear my cry, let me weep
Maya, my intoxication
Secret lullaby surrounds my soul
Maya, my sound and sensation
Take me to the heights where I can soar
Hear my cry, let me weep the tears of joy
Hear my cry, let me weep the tears
Whispers to me in my solitude
Maya, my music of elation
Takes me to the heights where I can soar
Hear my cry, let me weep the tears of joy
Hear my cry, let me weep
Maya, my intoxication
Secret lullaby surrounds my soul
Maya, my sound and sensation
Take me to the heights where I can soar
Hear my cry, let me weep the tears of joy
Hear my cry, let me weep the tears

I could tell she was the same person who sang Trust in Me, which is a great cover of a Disney song. Love her voice.
I love her voice, and the eastern and western blend 👍🥰🤩

What time signature do you think it is? To my ears it's solidly 4/4 .
This is very good. Great voice as others have said and interestingly different. Nice not to have a standard 4/4 time signature too.

Wow, not an insignificant number of 1 votes; one must open their ears from time to time.. William- thanks for broadening our horizons.

Tears of joy for this answered prayer made into a song by the divine Susheela.

I love Susheela. None of her albums disappointed me.

Love this; reminds me of my magical Romance with the incomparable Tamil goddess Jemila P. during my month of awe and wonder on the island of Mauritius in '07...
Very, very beautiful. Some people don't 'get' what world music is.

I really enjoyed the blending of Middle Eastern and Ska.

I'd rather say, please play every song again, even if I rateded it 1. RP - that's variety!
BTW, I did not rate this song 1. I liked it.
Please don't ever play this song again.
please, make it stop!
Works well with a Steve Martin King Tut "condo made o' stone-a" dance.
I feel strongly indifferent to this song.
I also bought the CD, love all of it.

She has an AWESOME voice. She trained with some of the best singers from her country (although she was born in the US).

I have to agree - could have been a great song, but her bland voice just lets the whole thing down.
This is a great CD!
I can do without this one.
