Shona Laing — Soviet Snow
One eye on the winter
Did I conjure up that cold
I've got friends in the far north
And should've had that mystery solved
Are we wide awake? Is the world aware?
Radiation over Red Square
Creeping on to cross Roman roads
Fear of freezing in the Soviet snow
One eye on the winter
Oh there's just a hint of Soviet snow
We need something to keep the chill
From freezing our own free will
We're teasing at war like children
Love is the one solution
Seeing ourselves inside
Our enemies need for shelter
Same winter wind that's blowing
Deep down inside we know
We've all got one eye on the winter
We need something to keep the chill
That we're wide awake...
Did I conjure up that cold
I've got friends in the far north
And should've had that mystery solved
Are we wide awake? Is the world aware?

Fear of freezing in the Soviet snow

I assume it\'s the drum programmer\'s song?
Sounds like the mormon tabernacle on X!
Too weird. Is that John Tesh\'s piano in the background?

Hmmm...don't think I ever heard a different version than this. Then again I only heard this in clubs. But I like it :)
Lemme modify that by saying if you're going to play this, you really need to mix it out into another song....no other reason for the break beats :PI've never heard this song or artist before. Thanks for the introduction (one of many), though I don't yet know how much I like it.
EDIT: Wait .. Wait ... Now I remember it! Is it really that song from the 80's?? Or is that some other song I remember??
Not bad at all. In fact, pretty darn good for a tune from the 80s. Anyway, very euro, feelings of Crowded House, Pet Shop Boys and singing like Siouxie with a touch of Peter Murphy.
