Just curious: Why 96? Why not 97? Because 96 really doesn't seem all that many to me. You could do that in an afternoon, I'm guessing... Hmmm.

Yuk. Don't like the emotionless horns.
Reminds me of The Who adding horns to their old songs when they go on tour. Totally unnecessary.
yeah...didn't think it was that bad till the horns came in

...so load it up!
Love the Stranglers
Don't love this cover
Bring me Strangers "Peaches"
Gee, I think it's a decent cover (and I'm old enough to remember the original, which I also liked).
pbm

These guys deserve credit for their cojones. It's an incredible risk to cover this song. NO ONE can top Question Mark and the Mysterians.
I'm in agreement with the masses...let's hear the Mysterians!!!
This really isn\'t very good.
I hated the original...and this is just slightly better but not good enuf to be played on RP. Get rid of it!
I love the original song! I remember delivering the San Diego Union Tribune morning paper with my little transistor radio ratteling out this tune.
This is horriable...
Best cover I\'ve heard was by a Detroit morning show.. WRIF.
Dick the Bruiser did a version called \"96 Beers\"
\"And when the sun comes up,
We\'ll throw up\"
\"Your gonna be drinking
96 Beers\"
\"Drink, Drink, Drink\"
\"96 Beeerrrsss\"
s\'ok
What else to do with the worst TOP FORTY number one song ever - why not provide a bland cover version?
This SUCKS BIG TIME

Yeah, I bought that album way back when, very good. This song just sounds goofy compared to that well-crafted pop....
?Where are the Mysterians?
OK, Bill, you got me. Thanks for putting a smile on my face as I head off to work.
Always liked the original. Nice cover on this, too
Got to agree. This is OK, loved the original! :)
PLAY THE ORIGINAL!!!
Another band I\'ve never heard of, but then we never heard again from Question Mark and the Mysterians, and the song killed then, too.
