God of light, light me some passion.
Green fields and lovely mansions.
Let your mansions live inside me.
Love me, light me, give me, guide me.

Cross of skin and naked figure.
Broken legs and crooked fingers,
Help me live for good tomorrow,
Today's too late and full of sorrow.

Light is good and dark is evil,
But I'm running around
Through the cross and through the steeples,
Trying to make it to higher ground.
Come on light, please live beside me.
Love me, light me, give me, guide me.

Pride and hate, they live inside me.
I need your love enough to guide me.
Help me walk across these borders.
I'm a pilgrim in deep waters.

Faithful God, like faithful sunrise,
Help me break from all these old ties.
Lead me all to that is holy.
Break these chains, but break them slowly.

God of light, light me some passion.
Green fields and lovely mansions.
Let your mansions live inside me.
Love me, light me, give me, guide me.

Let your mansions live beside me,
Love me, light me, give me, guide me.

Love me, light me, give me, guide me...

I support Radio Paradise, but I don't tithe. If I want superstition, there's plenty such on A.M.
Is this the Kings of Leon dude in an earlier incarnation?

Interesting concept... it seems like we never lack a singular troll.  I noticed we lost one and gained at least two recently.  So either there's a natural "circle of troll" that always has to have someone in that carrion feeder/court jester role, or maybe (just maybe) its the same person/people coming back with different names?  I actually lean towards the natural law theory unfortunately.  Doesn't say much for humanity, but then there're alot of things in the world these days that make me think that way.  I'm still fond of the teaming masses anyway... I'm just an old softy I s'pose.

Edit: I just noticed that post is from 2004... however, the fact that this was before my time and yet still fits makes it feel even more true.

We're sorry, JokesandJokesandJokes, but the position of annoying RP troll has already been ably filled by VV and, since he is in fact funny on occasion, we won't be needing your services any more. Good luck with your search for meaning in what is clearly a miserable existence.

I'm always pleasantly surprised when some song-prayer gets on RP. Never happens anywhere else. Bill usually offsets it with some off-the-wall new-age piece (like "I'm a Pisces Fish and the river runs through my soul" ) right after, but hey, it's his station, and it's a small price to pay...

Agreed -- excellent song, excellent CD. Steven Delopolous (singer/guitar) alone is very good as well (although I don't see him in the list...i may have spelled it wrong). Extremely talented bunch.
wow i never thought I'd hear these guys here. i mean i like them just, wow.

Huh?
Love theses guys! Even better live!
When it started it sounded like \"I\'m Free\" by the Stones. After that it was only disappointment
This is a solid album all the way through. More please
