Black is black, I want my baby back
It's grey, it's grey, since she went away, oh oh
What can I do, 'cause I, I'm feelin' blue
If I had my way, she'd be here today
But she'd go in time, and leave me to cry again, oh no
What can I do, cause I, I'm feelin' blue
I can't choose, it's too much to lose when our love's too strong
Maybe if she would come back to me, then I can't go wrong
Bad is bad, that I feel so sad
It's time, it's time, that I felt peace of mind, oh oh
What can I do, cause I, I'm feelin' blue
I can't choose, it's too much to lose when our love's too strong
Maybe if she would come back to me, then I can't go wrong
Black is black, I want my baby back

I remember hearing this song in the car and on transistor radios everywhere I went with my parents when I was in kindergarten and early elementary school... It fit right in with the Tom Jones and Paul Revere songs popular at the time... Happy memories; my head floating in the breeze...
I was 12. Brings back memories.

Thought this was Keep on Running intro.
1966.
How can that be?
How could this not be a 10? I was up dancing these 63 year old bones around when the first three notes came out of the speakers! Thanks RP!
Almost the last thing I did prior to leaving the UK was to enter a "Battle of the bands" as a conscript to to do lead on this song. A song, btw that we learned in an afternoon. We surpized the hell out of ourselves and got through to the top 3, but were beaten by a band of Beatle clones who did "Love me Do".
Huh.
Huh.
WOW! RP is really eclectic! Haven't heard Los Bravos since looong time ago!!
Great great great XDDD

I played this song many times on drums with my 60's band. Everyone on the dance floor. Great song.

I think these lyrics are not the right or accurate ones. Alas, those from here do not seem perfect either. http://www.songlyrics.com/los-bravos/black-is-black-lyrics/
