You don't wanna go there
Let me lead you by the hand
You don't wanna be there
Over the sea and down to land

As I look into your eyes
I'll pay no mind
I found the way
To get inside you
I give you peace of mind

I might see you falling
I might see you falling
I might see you falling beautiful
This time

I don't see you falling
I don't see you falling
I don't see you falling beautiful
Sometimes

You don't wanna go there
Let me lead you by the hand
You don't wanna be there
Over the sea and down to land

As I look into your eyes
I'll pay no mind
I found the way
To get inside you
I give you peace of mind

I might see you falling
I don't see you falling
I might see you falling beautiful
This time

I don't see you falling
I don't see you falling
I don't see you falling beautiful
Sometimes

Here and again
And there you're
Falling, falling, falling,
Falling, falling, falling

I might see you falling
I might see you falling
I might see you falling beautiful
This time

I don't see you falling,
I don't see you falling,
I don't see you falling beautiful
Sometimes

I might see you falling
I might see you falling
I might see you falling beautiful
This time

I don't see you falling,
I don't see you falling,
I don't see you falling beautiful
Sometimes

How do you feel?
How do you feel?

I don't see you falling,
I don't see you falling,

Corrupt, a plea for free will
An irresponsible horror show

Great seeing this played again - love the song, and with its music video it is oddly perfectclaustrophobic and strange and more than a little creepy. I'm actually going to head over to YouTube and watch it now...
The album as a whole is pretty decent - some top quality collaborations

Not a song with a rating under 7 in over an hour. Bill's on a roll.......
off to get another cup of coffee and PSD

Loooove this song! :D
the ol' british 90's
Saint Peter give you peace of mind.
Speaking of UNKLE...Bill and Rebecca...I have never heard you play PEAS...they are so awesome..totally need to bring them to the RP!!
UNKLE is some bad ass %#$&!
Does anyone know the origin of the soundbite at the end ("a plea for free will . . . an irresponsible horror show")?

What (s)he said!
You can never go wrong with Unkle. Way of ahead of their time and it still has legs.
What a song!
Unkle — Be There (w/ Ian Brown)

Nice set for a lazy, rainy evening....(the one I didn't grab: Afro Celt Soundsystem, Onward). sweet...
Would have mistaken them for Porcupine Tree. Is that good or bad? Not a particularly evocative tune. A good lounge lizard fav, though. Hoisting a vodka martini would be pleasurable to this, but I won't be driving down the highway letting this rip at 80 decibels.

THIRD COMING!

Take a look at this:

Maybe interesting to see how much 6 seconds of music can do, even in this song...
Amen brothers!

Great song !

UNKLE can be frustratingly inconsistent but this is grade A
9 —> 10

CLASS!!!!

The instrumental version is better, but I give it a nine because Ian Brown is such a funny bugger with his shell suits and enormous sunglasses!

And what's wrong with shell suits and enormous glasses? Eh? Eh? You avin' a pop?

OTB, isn't Ian Brown formerly thereof?

Album was a bit hit-n-miss, but Rabbit In Your Headlights is an immense song with a fantastic video! Love it! This song I'd pretty good too though!
Cool!  Yet another Porcupine Tree "side project"... {#Shifty}

Me too.  I keep hoping he'll put together a band with Noel Gallagher now that oasis are no more.  That would be way cool!

If Ian Brown were good at collaborating with guitarists, Stone Roses would still be together.

It's available via Amazon.com, if you just follow the link via RP.

However, it looks like this version of the song (w/ Ian Brown's vocals) is only available via the "Be There" single, which is selling for around $20. The instrumental of this song is actually on U.N.K.L.E.'s disc "Psyence Fiction", where it is called "Unreal".

Actually, I just found the song on Ian Brown's disc "The Greatest", and the mp3 is available via Amazon for $0.99 (via Zune for $0.79).
Is it just me but the music on RP really comes alive at night, one
great song after another!

Ian Brown bought into his "rock-god" status way too heavily, but I could listen to him sing a phone book.

Okay...I've been around a while. Vocals smack of Moody Blues.

Sounds like the Shamen to me, but pretty good whoever they may sound like. 7 from the Nottingham jury.

Does anyone know where you can get this?
Young and bitter?

Thank you! I knew I owned a version of this, but I couldn't place it. I thought it was DJ Shadow sampling himself.
Just damn sweet!

You're not going to find much better than this for those slightly "altered states".

I'm with you on this one. Let it fall.

Haven't heard anything by this band before. The music's smooth and moody (my favorite) and the vocals are wonderful. I would listen to more just to get a better listen of the vocalist ... hope Unkle features him across the board but am guessin' no ....
If you like Ian Brown, he was in the Stone Roses and has a few solo CDs out. Quite good.

It's the beat. You're thinking of Clubbed to Death by Rob D. That would be nice here too.
Love this song, thanks RP

Me too. The vocals sounds very much as an afterthought. Boring, predictable melody.
I might be dating myself but this totally reminds me of high school. Plus these guys are great. Psyence Fiction is a great album.
Other than the repetitive lyrics, I really like this song.

I actually prefer the original version of this song (without Ian Brown) PS: We can use your help over at the LRC, when you see this song: DJ Shadow - Midnight In A Perfect World reviewing 3/4

Yeah! More UNKLE, more Shadow! I'm a big Shadow/UNKLE fan and this is first time I've heard this track (with Ian brown). RP is the best. Will be keeping an eye out for this album. Does anyone know what the rest of this album is like, or who produces it?
Yeeeah, dark and cool tones..... :meditate.gif: i get extra special kicks when listening UNKLE, don't actually know why (too much angst? ).... I was on a recent trip in London and bought "Psyence Fiction" from Picadilly Circus Tower Records --> Situation: really small-towner foreigner on an big city tour, amazed about colourfull urban street life ... and this stuff coming through earphones... just got that extra special chill-out feeling for a moment... If interested, check also their newest excellent album, "Never, Never Land", i think this band could be characterised as "Massive Attack goes Radiohead" .... Heavy and intensive great stuff... Warning: Consume it carefully, might make a day a bit too blue :umbrella.gif:

Suh-weeeeet.
thanks so much for playing this one, RP! DJ Shadow's side-project with Mo'Wax's James Lavelle. Ian Brown of Stone Roses supplies the vocals on this track. doesnt get much cooler than this.
