You showed me how to do
Exactly what you do
How I fell in love with you
Ohhhhh, it's true
Ohhhhh, I love you
You showed me how to say
Exactly what you say
In that very special way
Ohhhhh, it's true
You fell for me too
And when I tried it
I could see you fall
And I decided
It's not a trip at all
You taught it to me to
Exactly what you do
And now you love me too
Ohhhh, it's true
We're in love, we two
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
We're in love, we two
We two
You showed me how to do
Exactly what you do
How I fell in love with you
You showed me how to say
Exactly what you say
In that very special way
You taught it to me to
Exactly what you do
And now you love me too (repeat to fade)
Exactly what you do
How I fell in love with you
Ohhhhh, it's true

Cheesy but fun.
Junior in high school. Back seat. Struggling with her bra strap...
Awesome! Love this song!

the Lightning Seeds' cover of this is really worth playing, also. Enough of an update without ruining the flavor of the song. (I actually like it better than this, too).
I agree. Their version is cool. The Turtles sound really dated to me most of the time.
No. <-( Craptastic.
Tedious cheese, at that.

Nice freakin' segue'.....
did it follow the supreme beings of leisure - never the same?
yes indeed!
yuck. I feel like I'm trapped inside my parents car on a long car trip.
i bought this on a 45 single back in day and i still have it! the slip cover has the group posing naked with leaves covering the correct spots. not a very pretty sight.
love the groovy vibe...

This was a very unique melody for the times and a precursor to alot of the progressive, moody music to follow. Listen to it again, and remember how long ago it was written. It is truly a classic, much overlooked.
ahhhh Cheesy Goodness.
Groovy!
I think I'm gonna get sick... wait .. oh god that felt better.
SO CHEESY
Eureka! I thought I recognized the hook in Supreme Beings of Leisure. I agree that this is a more pure application of it. Sounds better here than there.
