Ah, the RP way to start the day… this is sort of like having some fresh, tasty fruit on top of morning cereal.

If all Portuguese or Brazilians (and I don't even mention the rest) had to understand English in order to enjoy anglo-american pop music, the business would sell poorly, I wager.
Yes, that would be a sound wager (poor pun intended).

Nice groove - cool tune, even if I don't understand Brazilian Portuguese.

Wow, the Mosquitos! I've loved them ever since I saw them on Gilligan's Island.
Hahahaha, they've gone downhill since then for sure!
"Every little bit helps," said the old woman as she pissed in the sea.
Time for a caipirinha...
And the title name 'Sunshine Barato' means 'cheap sunshine'.
when you wander into the ocean to make xixi 'coz there's no porta-potty on the beach, make sure you don't step on a stingray like my son-in-law did or you will feel days of pain!

A little googling reveals that 'xixi' is brazillian slang for pee and 'zinho' is the dimminutive suffix. So 'Xixizinho no oceano' translates as 'a little pee-pee in the ocean'.
Disclaimer: I don't speak Portuguese; this is an educated guess.
I met these guys in Mexico and they admitted to peeing in the ocean. I was very surprised that they were a touring band. Very weak. It is amazing what can be created in the studio.

You are correct: it means "a little pee-pee in the ocean." (I used to live in Brazil.)

Really?!? I sure don't think so, but I still like the few songs that I've heard from the Mosquitos.

Any one know what "Xixizinho" means in Portuguese?
Accoridng to babelfish, it is Xixizinho. A quick google gives mostly this song as hits, so I think it's made up for this song.
instant love!

Cool songs... 8)
This one's a bit like Bebel Gilberto
I'm really digging this...
The lyrics is a bit non sense. It's about pee in the ocean. Xixi or Xixizinho is a funny way to say pee in Brazilian Portuguese. The band is from NYC and the singer is Brazilian. So, the rest of the lyrics is about "peeing in the ocean isn't new, it's better than find plastic or other things because is biodegradable." :p
