Doubtful. She's not got an iota of accent. I applaud her schooling. Nope, she's either got some Novacaine on board or braces.
She's French, which might account for the "novacaine" effect. "Not Going Anywhere" was her first English language release. :propeller.gif:

I swear she sounds like she has a Novacained lip. A little too precious for me - both her voice and the lyrics.
my initial thought was lockjaw, but you're right on with the Novocaine statement! I may need Novocaine if I ever have to listen to this song again...
I was about to leave for work but wanted to wait till I heard the end of the song. I like it. She has a nice voice too.
Now the Cowboy Junkies are playing... Am I ever going to get to work this morning??

My wife said "that is a pretty nice song" :) :daisy.gif:
Nice voice and simple song. Not quite my cup of tea but Quite Likeable.
This is why I always wonder
I'm a pond full of regrets
I always try to not remember rather than forget
This is why I always whisper
When vagabonds are passing by
I tend to keep myself away from their goodbyes
Tide will rise and fall along the bay
And I'm not going anywhere
I'm not going anywhere
People come and go and walk away
But I'm not going anywhere
I'm not going anywhere
This is why I always whisper
I'm a river with a spell
I like to hear but not to listen,
I like to say but not to tell
This is why I always wonder
There's nothing new under the sun
I won't go anywhere so give my love to everyone
Tide will rise and fall along the bay
And I'm not going anywhere
I'm not going anywhere
People come and go and walk away
But I'm not going anywhere
I'm not going anywhere
