It is impossible to articulate how happy it makes me that the Japanese version of Sideways is called Saidoweizu.
This is GREAT!

Thanks. I'd since looked it up and was coming back to repost. BTW, did you know that Stevens was an insurance executive, I think with The Hartford? When he passed away, a reporter called the company and asked for their reaction to the death of a great American poet. Apparently, the president of the company said something to the effect, "What? Wally was a poet? Fancy that!"

Love Jake ' s talent and music!
Indeed, this guy plays the most amazing version of the very complex "Bohemian rhapsody" with his small Ukelele, just 4 strings and ... AMAZING.

UGH, I hate "cute" songs. Nice ukelele, now... go away, and thanks, here's a tip.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jake back in December 2001, when Hawaiian tourism was suffering from post-9/11 travel woes. Just a small intimate dinner in Honolulu. He was a humble, unassuming guy then. Hope he still is.

M. Ward does a very moody cover of "Let's Dance".
I like it when people make a cover their own.... but I am still trying to find Bowie's "Let's Dance" in here..... anybody else?

Let's dance? Ok...
How nice to hear some music that does not depend on vocals!
Sounds like the theme music to Sex in the City. But it's still a 7.
This had me doing that Ferris-Bueller dance - the one he did to the theme from "I Dream of Jeannie." Gooood song - lots of fun!
On a Hawaiian roll here. Now some Makana please!
Jake kicking some serious booty on the uke again. I love this guy!

Nope. It's from the poem "Sunday Morning" by Wallace Stevens.

Enough with this graphic already.
That's some album art I can relate to. There's nothing like a Sunday morning breakfast.
Never heard this before. It's one of those songs that makes me look up who it is on the playlist. Very nice song.

I've known Jake since he was a youngster. He's really a terrific person, in addition to being a fine musician/performer. I'm happy to hear him on RP!

Cool! I was hoping it was a cover of the Bowie song, but this is better than that would have been.
like jake's version for sure, but anyone heard m. ward's version...stellar stuff
I really like this. Little bit like Jango.
Okay after the While My Guitar hubbub settled down, I commented that that's enough Jake to last me for a while.
I've heard this quite a bit tho, and never realized it was him. 7.
