In fact Theivery Corporation produced his debut album Gran Hotel Buenos Aires which has this track.
If I can recommend, instead of referring to the Putamayo compliation album, it may be better to show and link to Fredrico's own album Gran Hotel Buenos Aires which has this track.

I love his work and have four of his albums.
He looks like Bill Bruford!   Just saying...

music allways so good

Aubele siempre capta mi atencion. Gracias RP
Esta noche volveré
A contarte
Parapapapa
Esta noche volveré
A buscarte
Parapapapa

El tibio recuerdo
Tus labios el aroma a jazmín
Paraparapara
Solo el tiempo cura
El alma herida
Parapapapa
Pero hoy el vino
Trae aquella melodía otra vez

El tibio recuerdo
Tus labios el aroma a jazmín
Paraparapara

El tibio recuerdo
Tus labios el aroma a jazmín
Paraparapara

Tonight I will return
To sing to you
Tonight I will return
To look for you
The tepid memory
Your lips and the aroma of jasmine
Only time heals
A wounded soul
But today the wine
Brings back that melody once more
The lukewarm memory...

If I lived there, I would wear a white suit all the time with a big straw hat, and I would sit on the broad shady porch in back beneath a fan with a glass of tequila and a cigar the size of rolling pin. I would play with the children who came to offer fresh fruit to me, El Padrone. I would put down my book at sunset to contemplate the mysteries of love and life while a guitar softly played a ballad. If the guitarist displeased me, I would shoot him. Because I am El Padrone, after all, and this is the porch on which I spend my wise, cultured, rich and sentimental existence.

Weird way to express appreciation - shooting the performer.
I must be hearing voices.

Good to go but past the shooting stuff.
Everyday I strive to add Quality to my life.
This helps.
Thanks RP!

as a contractor, I'm sure there are plenty of houses you can wager and lose with no worries ;-)

I've had this track at an 8 and I've only heard it here.  So, as usual, I say:  Long Live RP!!

A small correction: Federico Aubele is the correct name of the artist.
He has fantastic music that is really worth to listen to :)

Thanks. Being as how I'm from Deep South Texas "down Mexico Way" this set has me reaching for a Tecate with a lime on top of the can and a big bowl of menudo (the soup, not the little boys band). Ay Senior .... let us sit back and watch the senioritas walk across the plaza.

Sounds like a phone ringing in the background of the mix...
