That other song of theirs lives in my head and tortures me on almost a daily basis
Lookin' out my front door wondering how a cat from LA can have a British accent
Just got home from Illinois
Kinda odd dirt-farmer types but they make some interesting music. They sound pretty happy doing it too, so good on 'em.

IMO this is more Mogadon than caffeine . I'm glad I've some strong tea to keep me awake.
hey bill - just really groving to your friday mix. Ed and the zeros are adding up for me.
who needs coffee when Paradise is piping through the ether (who am I kiddin', can't imagine a morning without a swally of caffeine...can't imagine a morning without an earful of RP).
rock n roll.

Not sure - I probably need to hear some more, it's sort of 'nearly but not quite' somehow. Don't dislike, can can't get over-enthusiastic so far.

I really would like to like these guys. The verdict is still out.

You've been around a long time but pretty much just spam the place. Why is that?
Kinda like this one... hey, for some completely new and different music, check out my newly patented Cellocaster, a cross between a guitar, a cello, and a violin: https://www.cellocaster.com

I also uploaded Home with this one and I am sure someone will upload some more.
I would love to hear some other tracks off this album! Pretty please.

My (16-year-old) daughter played "Home" for me one night last week—pure, infectious hippie-pop confection. So I bought the CD. Hmm. Some rough patches, but enough good stuff to make the purchase a keeper. AllMusic's review is a hoot: https://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:3jfwxzl0ldae
This song sounds like an interesting mix between M. Ward and the Waterboys.

Well then go to it, I have already met my 2 song per group quota allowed for upload.
I'm a technological luddite (I buy and/or borrow CDs and rip to my computer, no downloading) and RP says I can't upload Windows Media Player files! :(

The lead singer sounds like Iggy Pop ... a little ... "uplifting" came to mind—too—when I was listening to this track ... I was not aware of the existence of this group. Thanks RP!
Were they just making this up as they played?
Saw them at Osheaga in Montreal last week. What a band. Best thing to come about in a while. Keep them on the playlist!
Play the whole darn album! You might want to check out He's my Brother She's my sister. They opened for ESMZ when I saw them. They call their style Flamboyant Folk. ;-)

Thanks for appreciating this one, was worried it my fall through the cracks! Y'all let me know if you want anymore from this group of like minded artists that comprise the what I call "new folk-rock-indie movement". These guys, Conor Oberst, M. Ward, Monsters of Folk, Bright Eyes and yes, even though I don't like them, My Morning Jacket, Andrew Bird, Blitzen Trapper and many more. It is certainly not all I listen to, but seems to be the genre that fits into RPs format best.
Saw these guys twice in Vancouver in the last year. Both shows at times AMAZING and at times awkward. Great energy, positive vibes - Keep the ESATMZ coming!
