I'm pretty sure the compression is a stylistic choice. In fact I know it is. It's something that's been happening a lot in electronic music over the last few years, particularly on this side of the pond, and I don't hate it. Actually I'm not even sure it's really compression as such.

Not sure where I just went, but that was a neat journey.
It's tracks like this that make me wonder if the people who want to call all electronic music producers rubbish, talentless, etc even have ears. Or souls.
