Whoa-oh, walkin' in a straight line, might go
Make your girl insane 'cause she crazy for ya again
Pick her up off the 710
Whoa-oh, walkin' in a straight line, might go
Make your girl get bored 'cause she crazy for ya
Drop her off on Figueroa

Huh, she's on the boulevard
9 a.m. and she only gettin' started
But really, how can you truly walk away
Makin' fifteen hundred every day? Oh, yes!
I'll put that to two-way street
Wanna take her home for your family to meet
Take-take her back home to meet your dad and mom
Tell me truly, baby, do you wanna quit your job? Oh, yes!

Do you wanna quit your job?
Take you on a trip, take you to the Bahamas
Oh no, now she's really 'bout the shits
I'm crawlin', I'm crawlin' around and she's givin' me the business
Come on, just cut me some slack
I'm slidin' all around like I'm on a Nordic track
And I'm breakin' my back doin' the best I can
She's tellin' me I'm not her only fan

Whoa-oh, walkin' in a straight line, might go
Make your girl insane 'cause she crazy for ya again
You pick her up off the 710
Whoa-oh, walkin' in a straight line, might go
And make your girl get bored 'cause she crazy for ya
You drop her off off Figueroa

She's like, "Ha! Daddy, take me home
Take me to the store and can you buy me lots of gold?"
Lifestyle givin' her anxiety attacks
Special kind of medication help her relax
Oh no, she's really goin' hard
She noddin' at the party but she come to have fun
So now I'm always walkin' up and down the boulevard
But when I am on a date, you know I never get charged
I never get charged when I'm on that date
'Cause I know how to make ladies feel great
And make 'em feel special and have fun tonight
Listen to the music and it makes you feel right
I got so many, I do not want to stop
Me and the girlies pulled through to her spot
I don't care what she does if she don't mind what I do
I just wanna make love to you

Whoa-oh, walkin' in a straight line, might go
And make your girl insane 'cause she crazy for ya again
He picks her up off the 710
Whoa-oh, walkin' in a straight line, might go
And make your girl get bored 'cause she crazy for you
So drop her off on Figueroa

If you told me this was a cut track from (1994) Robbin' The Hood, I'd likely believe you.   A bit of a time capsule of a composition, let's see where they do from here.
Pretty frickin' cool that Jakob can step right in and step right up like that... I dig their lyrics, too; reminds me of the times when my brother used to live out there in L.A.; Long Beach, Hacienda Heights, Redondo... The whole family made a road trip out there to visit a crazy uncle when I was a kid, and it left quite an impression on us. I went to see my bro a time or two after I'd quit Engineering, and I continued to do myself the favor for all my CU college breaks from '85-'88 and '91-'93... Even after he'd moved away, I partied and visited friends there well into the early 2000s... I cherish memories of not only killer beach and party scenes at Venice, Santa Monica, Seal Beach, and Crystal Cove, but also crazy nights downtown, like seeing The Bonedaddys and No Means No at Al's Bar, at 4th & Traction, followed by insanely late after-parties at The Pantry, at 9th & Figueroa, or chatting up Nancy and the Korean hotties at Atomic Cafe, not far from MOCA... fun times with my artist friend John M., not just chewing blotter with him and John "Shadoobie" S. at Al's and King's Head, but also enjoying spectacular sushi and sake at OhMasa in Little Tokyo, and feasting and drinking like chieftains and flirting with ease, abandon, and style with the gals at funky little hole-in-the-walls in KoreaTown in Gardena, or eating burek and drinking rakia at the Yugoslav Cafe (before that country's break-up, and as Mr. M. warned us, having gone there while a student of Art in Paris, "The situation there is complicated, and -- fragile --")... and of course, I made bold, adventurous forays down to Ensenada, and San Felipe, where I met my ex-, and I just love how listening to Sublime, whether old or new, just sends me way on out there to where I used to let all my cares fall away...and you know, I can appreciate that, bittersweet as it all became and is... Thanks, and let's PARTY ON, Sublime and RP!
Dang I'm old - Sublime reformed with Bradley's son Jakob.  Sounds just like him!
Right on, some new Sublime in 2026 and Bill is Johny on the spot
These guys always crack me up.
