What do you do when a love dies?
I gave it all that I had
Only a child when you left me
Is it selfish that I'm saying that
Gave me two hours when I touched down in
San Francisco
Said you were nearing the end
My body gave in to my mom's hands
All that I knew then was that
I was a stray you gave me a home
Water to grow all that I know
You planted a seed expecting a flower
And I grew a tree full of your love
I was a stray you gave me a home
Water to grow all that I know
You planted a seed expecting a flower
And I grew a tree full of your love
How do you fill up a big room?
I put it all on a shelf
Pieces of me thrown in boxes
Will I ever figure it out?
Open the door for a neighbor
Think they can tell it's a void?
How does it keep getting louder?
How do I break through the noise?
How do I tell them I need you
And I'll never quite be the same?
And even if it always hurts me
I never want it to change
I was a stray you gave me a home
Water to grow all that I know
You planted a seed expecting a flower
And I grew a tree full of your love
I was a stray you gave me a home
Water to grow all that I know
You planted a seed expecting a flower
And I grew a tree full of your love

Sometimes i wish i could turn off the vocals and just listen to the music - i'm really enjoying this (reminds me of Lena Raine, the Celeste OST) but the vocals are not my cup of tea...

Likely there's app for that.  Lemme know if you find one.

Yes, I can only last about 45 seconds before the vocals push me to the skip button.
