Stakes are a little bit higher than most of us encounter, but exactly. Two years of immersion for the Japanese students at our local college is enough to get them jobs as interpreters. One friend runs a tour guide service in Tokyo. So for all but the most challenging legal discussions, all those guys should be able to get by just fine.

It appears that stories don't all align, and this is going to be the story of MLB for 2024.

Shohei Ohtani’s attorneys accuse interpreter of ‘massive theft’ tied to alleged gambling

Giants just picked up Blake Snell. 
Now the offense has to help just a little and we're right back in it.

Regular season starts tomorrow, by the way, with 3 games in Korea betw. Padres and Doyers.
