Woah. Found a video of the night I was in Auckland and Neil Finn was fronting FM. For some reason they let a goat come out and bray a verse. I suspect he's sick of the tune, which she basically says at the end.

Alanur wrote: Such an interesting life story this band has. I am always amazed by the long lasting friendships of the musicians no matter what. I can only imagine the energy they are sharing when they are on stage. Last year I had a chance to see Simon and Garfunkel. 50 years of friendship and still on the stage together.
Agree with the S&G. Saw them a few yrs ago and it was like they were symbiotes, not looking at each other but still hitting each nuance.
Saw FM a few weeks ago in Oakland. Lindsey was robotically energetic and emotive - I saw him solo a couple of years prior and he did exactly the same things. Stevie was entertaining. McVie was Entwistle. Did his job and left the stage. Fleetwood was crazy old man, tolerated and a little over the top embarrassing. Still - a good show. But fairly workmanlike.

I had the pleasure of seeing/hearing FM in phoenix a couple of months ago. Their stage show was crisp and clean, the music stupendously tight, Lindsay Buckingham's guitar work stellar, Stevie Nicks' voice... well, let's just say she should let her mature voice come through rather than trying to emulate the young Nicks that she no longer is. Mick Fleetwood... geez... what a drummer! And strange as ever... John McVie was splendid... his opening bass line in Chains is not to be outdone anywhere. Christine McVie... absent, and noticably so. I would go again in a hot second.
