Justine's in the big city so I called around to find one, and the only places (there are several) who have them in stock won't sell them to retail customers. Gotta have an account. If it were me, I'd hang out outside and ask someone going in to buy me one, like a kid at a liquor store....

Welcome to Idiocracy, which is already in progress.
Yep. For the record, these NSF posts are not bureaucratic, they're essentially on loan from universities around the country. The government pays for research that may not have an immediately obvious benefit; things that a private funder wouldn't pursue. But maybe talking about bees vs climate change was too woke.
She's having that problem that all artists have: struggle->make it big->must create product since you have staff whose income depends on you being popular -> dancing monkey.
This is a good one from a few years back.
Her videos can be very funny—Blank Space, You Need to Calm Down, Anti-Hero. And for my money Cruel Summer is one of the best pop songs ever.
Well, this time because she wanted to counter trump's false implications that she supported him, so blame trump. And previously not really her fault that some terrorists wanted to attack her concert. So I call those ones fair. But let's face it, Dave, you and I are far from her target audience. I suppose I should listen to her music sometime. Keep waiting for William to add some to the playlist.

I did that post before I even knew about that one.
Why does Taylor Swift have to be in the news in some form or another every friggin' day?

I understand what mansplaining must feel like. Our receptionist overheard that I'm working on a newspaper ad and proceeded to give me tips on how to make it better and things she has learned about buying advertising from newspapers. Midstream, she caught herself and said "I probably don't need to tell you this" and noticed that I was slowly shaking my head no. ...And then she went on for another 5 minutes.
There you go... enabling DE&I!
That go-getter's got "upper management" written all over her!
