Hello! Any updates on the below? I'm happy to help finish off the plugin if the help would be appreciated. I have a Linux-based Kodi appliance and would love to see RP as a first class option on the platform.

I used to be able to find Radio Paradise (eclectic rock!) in the Shoutcast addon, but it's not there anymore. I tried searching for it in the Radio addon as suggested, but it was a German station called Radio-Paradise. Are there any other tips to get RP on Kodi? I listen on my iPhone, but Kodi is what my sound system is hooked up to...

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it with the Radio addon, just had to keep looking. But an RP addon would still be great. 

There's a Kodi Add-on called "Radio". It's available via Indigo/tvaddons.ag, Superrepo, and probably anywhere. It provides access to hundreds of internet radio stations all over the world, one of which is Radio Paradise. Go get Radio, find Radio Paradise and create a favourite for it. None of the bells and whistles of the android app, but it's about the music, son.

Any updates on this?  I'm trying out Kodi for the first time on my pc and would love to have RP from within the program

After waiting endless months and numerous promises for an availiable Kodi/XBMC Plugin, I decided to do it by myself.
The core (playing the stream) works well, slideshow and Songinfos/Comments are upcoming, songvoting (and the needed login therefore) is planned.

I will publish the (core) plugin and all upcoming updates in the official Kodi repository if:

1. I have your permission to do so.
2. I get some image material from you (icon: 256x256 or bigger, the picture from your frontpage: width 1280 or bigger).

For the planned songvoting function I need some infos about the login and voting processes (API). I dont want to fiddle out from the webpage, but if necessary I do so.

Hope I did someone a favour with this.

By default, the ajax script returns a *lot* of data.  You can turn off datasets you're not using via these switches:

?comments=no&slideshow=no&lyrics=no&song_info=no

It also responds to comments_num=(default = 50).  If song_id is not specified, it defaults to the current song.

I can provide graphics when you need them.

I've been a long time user and helper in forums for Kodi(formerly XBMC) and decided to get into making some add-ons for it.  I noticed that surprisingly no RP add-on with the HD feature exists.  This will be the first add-on I've written for Kodi, but I've been coding for about 35 years so I don't expect to encounter much difficulty and I already know Python which Kodi uses.  Last night I actually got a VERY basic version of the add-on working(the stream plays and artist/song are displayed onscreen).  Now I just need to figure out how to add HD pictures and make it pretty and start thinking about other features like browsing/posting song comments.  Basic functionality and the HD pics are the top priorities though.

When it comes to making it look good,  I'd need to get some RP graphics in the correct size to display well in Kodi.  I don't know the exact pixel sizes yet, but when I do perhaps Bill or somebody could help me get these.  I'm doing this in my spare time so it might be a month or so until I finish the first release. 

Any Progress in doing an XBMC Plugin for RP that includes the HD feed? 

Another great App improvement would be for the Amazon Android version to add support for FireTV.  The picture and video quality is fantastic, and it is, at it's heart, just another Android device. 

XMBC is mainly for home theater, since I'm usually on my PC working.  When listening to RP, I use my Kindle beside my PC to show the HD pictures, which doesn't interfere with PC work.... OK, sometimes the pictures are strikingly great, and enough to distract!  Incidentally, the headphone sound quality in the Kindle HDX is fantastic, better than my PC.)

Might want to look at http://radioparadise.com/ajax_xml_song_info.php?song_id=X   (X = the numeric song id — or 'now' for the current song).  That returns a *ton* of data:  comments, ratings, cover art & slideshow image urls, lyrics, etc
