Bill, thanks.  I had thought of the internet but forgot to put it in my post.  Alas, my wife struggles with even basic functions and much prefers the app (open up the iPad Mini, press on the RP icon and press the triangle) to the busy website.
 
Perhaps it’s time to update my 30 yr-old (at the time expensive) stereo for something more modern. We’ve been using a Roberts Stream 250 through an aux-in; however, it’s become very temperamental and several times I’ve got very close to smashing it in frustration.

I’ve an iPad Mini 2 that I want to get RP on.  However, the Apple store won’t load the RP app as it says the latest version of iOS that I can get, IOS9, is too old.  The internet gives me a few articles that say I can load iOS12 but all my attempts to load it have failed.

Searches throw up nothing.

Can I get RP on this iPad Mini2, for example through another app, and if so how? Any method needs to be suitable for a willing technophobe who gets frustrated quickly when software doesn’t behave as it should, sadly all too frequently ( â€œI’ve never seen that before” is a common response from IT guys).
