Glad you got it sorted.
Shoes, shoes, you don't need no stinkin' shoes.
I'm really surprised that it took me this long to figure out how much of my mood is tied to having my feet be free. Must be a metaphor there somewhere.
Yes- we have a float switch in the cistern that is supposed to turn the pump off when the water is too low. It filled up and became a "doesn't float" switch. There was still enough contact that it passed some voltage, but not enough to run anything. In messing with that the guys cut a wire they shouldn't have cut and that dropped a weird circuit we have that hits things on all corners of the house. So comedy of errors kind of thing. Only took a few hours to sort it, but I got a visit out of the deal.
It's super easy to fall into the vibe here. I almost forgot my shoes going to dinner last night.

I'm terribly jelly,my friend. What did you find that was dragging your power down?

Buen dia. Even a couple days at the southern outpost is good for the soul. Learned one of our favorite spots is closing up (the one with the cool bar around the tree). Owner evolved it from a food truck and survived covid, but he's ready to try something else. The building is in the family, so something else is likely to spring up there. He told me there are more than 150 places in town to get food now - I think he's counting markets and every taco shack too, but I'm sure he's close. He's going to San Jose and has a catering gig set up, so onward we all go.
This little town is so great, it's cool to be a local.

Enjoy your time off, my friend. Life is too short to stay grumpy. Cheers!
Thanks. Work related stuff have been weighing on me the last couple weeks. But like everything, it'll pass. Like you say, life is too short not to let things like that pass.
