It's the same feeling I got with the close of Harp magazine.  Fortunately, No Depression and Paste continue online, Harp concluded both print and online in 2006.

It's pretty much a good representation of the rest of the album. They get a little more political on some of the songs but it's good. Sort of a Roma version of the Pogues if you ask me.

I first learned about Paste Magazine via a front page announcement on RP in 2003-4 and have subscribed to it since. Over the years, it broadened its focus to include film, electronic games, and books, perhaps at the expense of its core subscriber base. The downturn in ad revenue across the industry caused Paste last year to ask subscribers for contributions to keep it open. On Tuesday, it gave staff two hours to clean out their desks. Today, it announced the closing of its print version. See it here. It will continue with PasteMagazine.com.
