Please send positive thoughts to Paul, Mag's dad, who suffered a bad stroke and is in a hospital, tied down, drugged up and is not recovering as quickly as we hoped. Please send out positive thoughts for the universe or whatever to help his brain heal and we can have this beautiful lively man back from whatever hell he is going through. What is this...stroke season. My own stroke is almost completely healed so that's damned lucky, yeah?

My oldest daughter's husband was diagnosed with Guillan Barre Syndrome. Long story short, they caught it early (while he was in the hospital with pneumonia) so he didn't have to spend as much time in the hospital. He is now rehabbing over the next few months to get the full use of his legs back. This happened over the holidays, and as if that wasn't bad enough, my daughter caught a bad case of food poisoning around the same time. When it doesn't rain it pours, she said. All good thoughts/vibes and prayers much appreciated.
