Released: 2008

Plays (last 30 days): 3
High or low, stop or go
Heaven up and Hell below
War on terror, face the mirror
Will they ever see the mirror
Science fiction, space vacation
Faith or fear's a new creation
Faith or fear's a new creation

Disillusion, no confusion
Clear your head of mind pollution
Levitation, meditation
Faith or fear's a new creation

Guns are killing and TV's thrillin'
The mind is weak an' flesh is willin'
You buy'em work again, sell your brother
Why do we enslave each other
Armageddon is where we're headin'
If the walk the path we're treadin' on
Faith or fear's a new creation

You are my love an' I'll always be
By your side when-ev-er you need me
I'll be strong, give my best for you
Cause lovin' is what I'm born to do

You are my love an' I'll always be
By your side when-ev-er you need me
I'll be strong, give my best for you
Cause lovin' is what we're born to do

Let this sitteling of mine
Flower sows freedom
Carries our world
In a universe
Of folding we untie
Throughout space

Babylonia says come on give us up
Yes an' I lie when the moon is shinin' brights
The world can't find your peace of mind
Livin' in a man-made space of time
Nine to five, Creation is a lie
Takin' a walk within a Sunday
On city streets and city light
Never voted things to be no vote
Cause life shows weight for wise
Chair follows and thus
I use the ever-growing
Cause ever-growing is the way one must
You will see
Infinite possibilities, born within
Infinite possibilities, born within

You are my love an' I'll always be
By your side when-ev-er you need me
I'll be strong, give my best for you
Cause lovin' is what I'm born to do

You are my love an' I'll always be
By your side when-ev-er you need me
I'll be strong, give my best for you
Cause lovin' is what we're born to do

By your side when-ev-er you need me
Give my best for you,
Cause lovin' is what we're born to do

Excellent!!  Thanx RP!
Bajka's voice and flow makes my heart flutter.
Geeze, all this time I never knew this was Mitch Gerber. I always thought it was that other group (who's name escapes me at the moment) that Bajka sings with.
Whoah, thought 100% this was Morcheeba!
Such a great song. I really like this singer too.
idk about 7.2 for this song, the chorus and intonation gets kind of repetitive.  Bajka's performance was way better in "The Hop", now that one really grooves.
Lustrous vocal!
Wonderful Tune!
Can't believe no-one's mentioned "Uptown Top Ranking"!

this one is even better ....

Cool track, although I think I prefer the Tales of the Wind album. For people who were kinda put off by Bajka's voice but liked the music, I suggest you try this one :)
intriguing voice, great base line
very unpleasant nasal tone.

And also, that way I could diversify my circle of friends, so that I could say without fibbing "Well, I have some friends that actually LIKE Dave Matthews and that adult-contemporary Eric Clapton stuff.  So no, not all my friends are 'into' music."

Thought this was Macy Grey until I looked at the computer. Nope, wrong again. I'm liking it though.
What a remarkable voice...
First time I hear this, and I immediately was caught by the voice: cool, wildcat-like, sexy.
The repulsion expressed by many makes me feel like we didn't listen to the same song...

I'm not big on Mich Gerber, but this works for me - obviously thanks to Bajka's contribution.

Love the 'Cartmann with ski goggles' interpretation of the cover {#Bounce}
Are these people actually dissing Bajka's voice? Oh my god. She sends tingles up and down my spine. Sexy, sexy, sexy.

And yes, the cover looks like Cartman in ski goggles.
I'm surprised at the comments. I am totally digging her voice!

I knew I recognised the voice. She has also appeared on a number of Bonobo tracks. Which doesn't surprise me as this couldn't get much closer to being exactly the same as his music. (Not that that's a bad thing.)

Isn't that what the ratings button is for?  If we, as the RP listeners don't like a song, we rate it poorly.  Once the ratings drop below a certain point, it's not played anymore.

Kinda sounds like a playlist decided by committee to me.

Now commercial radio on the other hand is not decided by a committee, unless that committee is the record label board room.

Normally, I do really appreciate Mich Gerber´s music. But this one is totally ruined by the awful singing, as segue said before. I´m pretty sure there is no song on this world who would survive this kind of terrible vocals. Sounds like a visit to a sadistic dentist: sucko barfo at it´s best!
That bass sounds oh so good. Would love to hear him and Tony Levin trading licks on stage with some kind of world beat band behind them, that would be something.

You've gone over the top, again. I don't know about you, faceache, but this "old man" (no pullover) needs no advice from some sexist arschloch on women, and I'll bet Poacher doesn't either. You're the one who needs to grow up and, who knows, you may even have a bit of success with the opposite sex if you quit treating them as tits and c*nts on legs and instead as real, living humans. You know, like what you aspire to be, but haven't yet made the grade. Scheisskopf.

If I could "Sucko Barfo" again, I would. Make it STOP! Sounds like she is sucko barfing. As bad as Natalie Merchant. Awful voice. Ick.

And NOTHING like Eartha Kitt! She could sing. This is gargling.

I agree totally. Just mesmerising. She's on a couple of the Bonobo tracks - and tours live with him (and the rest). Beautiful stuff.

That'll be a 'null set' then, will it, our Bill? ;)

Essentially, a song is overplayed if a punter doesn't like it, underplayed is s/he does. The subjective is all. Maybe individual singers/bands get more than one song a day, but I don't remember the same song every being played twice in a day.

I strongly value the variety and range of songs on this station, yea even with the sucko-barfos, and I know that I'm far from the only one. Viva RP! :)

Because you had to pay by the character, heavy users of the technology had all kinds of short forms and substitute words that make texting on phones look like Shakespeare.

The exhange immediately below reminds me that there are three subjects of conversation that typically lead nowhere: religion, taxes, and opinions of the opposite sex.

Okay - This is really nice stuff.  Gerber is fresh to tired ears.  As far a Bajka goes - I love it.  Some of you remorse about affectation.  Okay - Listen to Jim Nabors then.  Everyone sings with some degree of affectation, whether they know it or not.  Mick Jagger, Nancy Giffith, .......etc.  In some cases it can be overdone perhaps but it remains music and can still be good for the ears.  John Fogerty is an American Classic and there are quite a few songs where I have no clue as to what the heck he is saying.  My ears love it nonetheless.  I haven't even begun to speak of music in other languages that people who only speak one langauge listen to anyway.

RP is great!
I like everything she sings on—whether this, Bonobo or Citizen Kane. Very distinctive voice.
