Time shakes, found you at the water
At first you were my father, now I love you like a brother
Earthquakes shake the dust behind you
This world at times will blind you
Still I know I'll see you there

Come a little closer, then you'll see
Come on, come on, come on
Things aren't always what they seem to be
Come on, come on, come on
Do you understand the things that you've been seeing?
Come on, come on, come on
Do you understand the things that you've been dreaming?
Come a little closer, then you'll see

Heartbreaks, the heavy world's upon your shoulders
Will we burn on or just smolder?
Somehow I know I'll find you there
Oooh, you wanna see if you can change it, change it
Still I know I'll see you there

Come a little closer, then you'll see
Come on, come on, come on
Things aren't always what they seem to be
Do you understand the things that you've been seeing?
Come on, come on, come on
Do you understand the things that you've been dreaming?
Come a little closer, then you'll see
Come a little closer, then you'll see

Ten thousand people stand alone now
And in the evening the sun sank
Tomorrow it will rise
"Time flies by," they all sang along
"Time flies by," they all sang along
"Time flies by," they all sang along
"Time flies by... by"

Come a little closer, then you'll see
Come on, come on, come on
Come a little closer, then you'll see
Come a little closer, then you'll see
Come a little closer, then you'll see

Such an amazing explosion of talent from this group lately, and good for them! It must have been mind-blowing and transformative to go from Kentucky to London -- and I am sure that the experience has done wonders for their creativity and inspiration. I worship bold moves that affirm our self-actualization, and if it makes Joy for others, all the more worthy it is, indeed! Thanks, RP, and I can't wait for what's next from them!

Hunh?  This albums over a decade old, so hardly lately.  Or are you referring to Neon Pill, which itself is almost two years old?  Not sure if that album really came from joy...it was inspired by paranoid delusions and a rather serious mental health incident.  So....

More CtE on RP? Yes please!
I always thought these guys sounded much too British for a band from Kentucky.
great add to the playlist. Thank you Bill.
