Very good. Joan Osborne is a fine artist. I have this song with the Blind Boys from Alabama and I hate the words, depressing Christian stuff but the rythm is great.

I've got the version by Blind Willie Johnson. Joan Osborne makes it possible to understand all the lyrics, but you can't compare the two. BWJ takes it.

Joan has such a beautiful voice that she can really adapt to various styles - something like this really shows off her soulful side, but take a listen to "Do I Ever Cross Your Mind" (which I first heard on RP) and it's a completely different side. Talented and versatile.

i ususally dont' like her - but this isn't bad. i like the other version of this that they play on RP better, tho. i notice that this song has many missing verses, and incorrect words. no biggie. joan has certainly improved from the days of "relish" - those were horrible days.
