Put out your hand
Open up your heart
How can I love you when we're so far apart
And all I want is your love
All I want is your love

Put out your hand
Open up your mind
How can you love me then just leave me behind
When all I want is your love
When all I-I want is your love

Here I am waiting for you
Here I am all alone
Here I am waiting for you
Tell me what went wrong
All I-I-I want is your love
All I-I want is your love
I want your love

Tell me that you love me
That you're never going leave me
That you're never gonna hurt me
That you never will deceive me
That you're thinking that you'll see me
That you're always thinking of me
Tell me
You want my love
You want my love

Put out your hand
Open up your heart
How can I love you when we're so far apart
When all I-I-I want is your love
All I-I want is your love

Here I am waiting for you
Here I am all alone
Here I am waiting for you
Tell me what went wrong
All I-I-I want is your love
All I-I want is your love
I want your love

I want your love
Oh
Yeah
I want your love
I want your love
Oh, I want your love

He has some good tunes. A couple of goose-bump generators.

This may not be his best, but its not bad.

Even his lesser work is pretty easy to enjoy for me.
Now were cookin...
What I want from Chris Isaak are at least a few songs that don't sound and tell a story like all his others.
No: plastic plastic.

I will take 3 chords and HIS voice any day of the week..

It's a filler.
You're in the studio - you haven't got any more songs left.
Three chord trick
"All I want is your love blah blah.."

I like Chris Isaak, he has a great sense of humor and his music is really good. Shouldn't got that plastic surgery though.{#No}

Good, but not best!

Funny but this song brings 'Nathan Jones' by the Supremes to mind.

That is funny - it reminds of that in a way, now that you mention it.  That's kind of an obscure tune to think of.

Agree.

I usually do. Mrs Squid often joins in.

The kids don't seem to approve though

The girls seem to think he's cute, yeah? I think the hatin' goin' on in here has more to do with that than what he actually puts on his records.
Best Chris Isaak album ever. Love every song. {#Wave}
Way too much negativity on this page of comments. Time for a vibe change:
I think Chris Isaak is awesome. Love that voice.
Inner Roy!

Today started and will end with Chris Isaak. I can't think of a worse way to start and end a day. This guy's voice makes me want to vomit.
This is music for 14-year-old girls. Hey, Bill needs the support of everyone if RP's going to survive. But I'm no fan of Mr. Isaak either.

Don't mince words! Tell us how you really feel!!!

Isaak does Orbison, hundreds of guys in Vegas and Atlantic City do Elvis. Why is Isaak considered a credible artist while the Elvis impersonators aren't? Same question applies to Sinatra impersonator Harry Connick Jr (who's a better actor than musician - he did one of the greatest film bad guys ever in Copycat).

To this day I call "them" squirrel covers!  I thought he was good in that film too.

All of his songs his voice sounds like a howling dog to me for some reason...

A regular cliche fest.

Is this the new Rockabilly? I like it.
Turn it up and do the chair bop...you know you want to...

I'm glad we have someone who can keep alive the Roy Orbison feel of good, solid tunesmanship coupled with great, full-range vocals.
That's pretty much how I feel. I doubt I'll ever see him live, but I've seen some concerts/show videos and he's cool.
I quite liked Chris Isaac's stuff there for a while, and have several albums. But lately I'm just kind of getting tired of him.

Chris, I sick. Heal me.
M-m-m-m-my Sharona!

What's with the organ?
The organ surprised me. This song makes me think fifties rockabilly but then it got nudged into "96 tears"? That's a shift.
You mean, that wasn't Roy?!?
This isn't as completely unoriginal as music can be, but it's close.
Cough. Gag. Wheeze.
Just saw Chris and the band last night in Chicago. The shows are always a great time, and they play as tight as a drum. They ALWAYS stick around to sign autographs and talk to their fans. That's very cool.
I'm glad we have someone who can keep alive the Roy Orbison feel of good, solid tunesmanship coupled with great, full-range vocals. I suppose he has detractors, but I do think a little CI can always get the mood elevated. Plus, if you ever see him live, it is a good show!
My ears!!! Ahhhhh!!! Please stop the organ!
elvis is rolling in his grave
YUMMY
Chris Issak twice in one day, from the same album no less.
does anybody else feel that RP has gone from 80-90% groovy, far out, inspiring, mystical, cosmic, deep (and purple) to 80-90% twanky, silly, rip-off, superficial, boring, boom-cha, pseudo dance music trite crap?
Mmmmm, Chris Isaak twice in one day? I could get used to that.
What's with the organ?

gotta love it. he sticks with what works for him.
He's a good vocalist and he always has excellent instrumental accompaniment. If only he had something interesting to say ...
gotta love it. he sticks with what works for him.
Thank you! The more CI , the better! Good tune! 9.
\:D/ can never get enough of San Francisco Days...
Okay, Chris!
