Love the  idea she is from Russia.. .. my western culture is  a bit tin eared to Russia.  Tremendous Art.  Ancient Culture.  RS flips it upside down and sings so beautifully.  Russia is  not a world power because they think art is something manufactured.  RS is asking USSR to look a bit deeper.  IMO.  This song just follows nature.  Why argue? Why fight it?

I love this song but I forewarn people that playing this loudly and grooving along to it in front of the regular people can result in a lot of "Are you OK?"

Hell yeah, I'm OK. Like it or not I'm comin' up the mountain. Extra warning if you follow it with Heavy Balloon by Fiona Apple and start shouting about how you spread like strawberries and rise like peas and beans it doesn't make things better in the eyes of observers. But I feel like both seem like anthems for those of us who sometimes trend toward the darkness. Very uplifting.

Her earlier stuff was technically great and all, but WOW, upon second listen, THIS BLOWS ME AWAY... I just love what she does with her voice, her images, her playfulness with rhythms of speech and sound, and I worship the childlike sense of wonder and adult sensuality she imbues this amazing bit of fun with, using her obviously genius musical talents most wisely, uniquely, and entertainingly here. BRAVO, Regina!
