The competition came up with a lot of other good names too. Personally I think Gritsy Bitsy was absolutely brilliant, but I would have gone with Basil Salty or Spready Mercury over David Plowie.

This is touted as a 1995 PSA... back when Google didn't yet exist and some of us had heard of TCP/IP, but had no idea what it was and what it could be used for.
