Friends of mine lost their son unexpectedly last week.

What a great face.  I ache for them.  But I think he'll be back for more.

...I will always remember you dancing a graceful, barefoot Greek dance on the deck of the Yankee Barn at the family reunion....I will remember oftentimes hearing your mother's voice in your voice when you talked, I will remember your love of cooking—especially delectable Italian dishes—and wine, your love of the finest things in life, you playing a soothing Ella Fitzgerald "Jazz Around Midnight" while we drove to the restaurant.....your beautiful doe-like eyes that had all the beauty of Aunt Viola and Uncle Bill combined.....and your style & grace. I will miss you so much, but now I feel I have one more ally in heaven. Please give Tony a big hug for me and your mom and dad too.

Throughout my time here at RP, I've noticed that people like to mark the anniversaries of the passing of their loved ones and say a few things in remembrance. I felt like those expressions were important enough to warrant a thread of their own.
