Tucker Carlson says it’s immigrants, “not unvaccinated Americans who are clogging” emergency rooms
Carlson: “He’s blaming it on people who didn’t get the shot? Many of whom have natural immunity and are less likely to get sick than a vaccinated person from COVID? What a lie”

speaking of immigration, spare a thought for these poor people
Forceably relocated not just once but twice and now with no ownership rights to their new home that overseas interests literally want to dig up and ship to aluminum foundries in China.

See, the Australian Government touts how they stopped the boats (through imprisoning refugees in cruel conditions) but it's more or less ok for refugees to arrive by plane. Well, people who arrived by boat used to be able to stay until their claim is denied and the government tries to send them back. Except by that time they have settled in the remote community of Biloela, got jobs, volunteered, and had kids. So faced with injunctions on deportation, they keep the whole family imprisoned for years in an offshore refugee camp that is kept open just for them, costing the country millions of dollars and doing nothing except denying the kids all semblance of a normal childhood upbringing and destroying the family's mental health.

I think I have the facts correct. I might have missed a detail or two. But at least we don't have any swimmers anymore.

Addendum: I don't understand why the Tamil part of Southern India isn't doing everything they can to provide a safe haven for Sri Lanka refugees. But you know, you need to deal with the facts on the ground and treat people with decency.

So what exactly the Cuban government done to persecute refugees who are turned back?

How about removing all the economic sanctions against Cuba?    Or, given the turn in the direction of corporate fascism, has the USA lost faith in the power of free markets?

The sanctions against Venezuela appear to have given the Maduro regime a second lease on life.   Was that the original purpose?  To support the Maduro regime?

Or was the purpose of the US government to deliberately hurt ordinary Venezuelan citizens?
