That Dimon video is from last winter i believe? Not really a fan of Rubin, but Dimon is mostly correct in how he assesses democrats and their response/reaction to republicans.
The same can be said for the republicans, and how they respond to the democrats...neither wants the other to get a win, regardless of the cost to the country.
Immigration is a prime example...trump offered a reasonable immigration deal and schumer made sure it went nowhere. Then, Biden had his deal that more or less gave the republicans what they wanted, and trump shut it down...both parties being led to the slaughter by the fringes.
